What a good idea!

Going to therapy today with a therapy hangover from yesterday. Not sure if this will be a bad idea or a 'hair of the dog' situation...

Feeling down today. Restless last night. Sure, I've got problems, but I had the same problems yesterday.

Does anyone have a good remedy for mouth ulcers? Would warm salty mouth wash work? has anyone tried bicarb paste?

This stuff was almost miraculous for me. It is called magic mouthwash recipe (you can look it up)
It is 1 Part Milk of Magnesia and 1 Part Children’s Benedryl.

I also put alum on the spot and I stop using toothpaste with sodium sodium lauryl sulfate in it until the canker sores have healed.

Salt water rinses help as do putting tea bags on the spot and rinsing with a hydrogen peroxide/water mix.

(I get canker sores a lot when I am stressed- they are painful)

There is also (here in us) a prescription version of the magic mouthwash that includes a 3rd ingredient for pain - so if you want to look it up- I would throw in something like homemade or diy magic mouthwash recipe.

I don't think I can get that in my country. But I'll look.

I have tried most of the ones listed here:
http://homeremediesforlife.com/canker-sore/

But the magic mouthwash combined with salt water rinses, some alum (which does sting) and switching my toothpaste for the duration kept my last bout down to only 3 or so days before they were completely healed up. That was the shortest healing time I have ever had for it.

Here is another description of the magic mouthwash this one is 2 to 1 benadryl to milk of magnesia.
http://strikeback12.blogspot.com/201...mouthwash.html
It does sort of numb it too

I wish I thought the magic mouthwash would work on that too.

I should exercise instead of going home and drinking vodka, right? I have had a bottle of caramel vodka in my freezer for months. It is sounding really good right now.

Does it taste like caramel or just sort of smell like it? I have only tried the citrus kind (I am not a real big vodka drinker) and it more had the smell than the taste.

It actually tastes like caramel. The chocolate stuff is good also. I did not care for the citrus stuff.

How interesting.
I have tasted a friend's chocolate martini before but was not inspired to order my own. One proper gin martini is my limit.

Is there a reason you can't do both? Exercise first then hit the bottle? For me the exercise would make me feel better faster and more long lasting. The liquor would taste good but eventually just wreck my sleep. I am old.

How about I drink first so the exercise isn't so painful? hahaha. I should exercise first and then if I feel like having a drink, I can. Exercise is usually helpful, but not always.
Thanks for this!

Kind of a reprieve from the city inspector. One of the maintenance guys told me they have to upgrade an electrical outlet in my kitchen and a bunch of others, so he wont be coming in until all that work is complete.

When i heard that, i lay down and took a 4 hour nap. The stress is killing me! Unfortunately i will be out most of tomorrow for estate stuff, but i do have thursday open to clean. And tonight!

I love that about cats. You can tell they're narrating little stories to themselves about their adventures as they stalk things that aren't there.

< rant > why can't my h just get on board with me going to therapy?! he's acting all pissy because I asked him to go to a meeting at school with our son this week that's at the same time as my therapy. he said something along the lines of "if you don't think it's important enough for you to go, then I shouldn't have to go." after I asked explaining that it's at the same time as my appointment. big jerk face. < /rant >
