My T and I swap playlists over breaks. I need like 4 or 5 more songs and can't find anything else that I like.
Thanks for this!

Is it just songs you like? I'm digging Sia - I'm alive.

Have you checked out the Watching the White Wheat - Folksongs of the British Isles album by the King's Singers? I especially like Barbara Allen and Dance to Thy Daddy

Yes basically what we are currently listening to but I'm in a music funk right now and have been trying to find some new stuff for a month and not doing well. It seems like any artist I find that I like I only like one or two of their songs.
Current playlist has Gaelic Storm, the young Dubliners, tall heights . Elephant revival, great big sea, Natalie merchant, switch foot, girlyman, and a couple others on it and I am stumped.

I need there to be a Goodreads for music. Because i am stumped on what else to listen to, and now that i'm an old fart, the radio doesn't do it for me anymore.
Thanks for this!

Pandora and Spotify both give suggestions.

I've tried both, and am "eh" on them. I like Spotify a bit more, but I am not paying for a subscription. I want to be able to be like "I like this album, please give me all amazing selections based on that." That's not too much to ask for, right?!

I use rhapsody for the paid part and pandora - I don't find Spotify all that great for the types of music I listen to.

Hey, where'd the couch go??
I sometimes like Nick Cave.
And Martha wainright. V good song with lots of swearing in the title.

And hey, great road trip thus far, and whats wrong with driving on the left? It's the whole, entire rest of the world that has it wrong driving on the right ....
Thanks for this!

Oh, another thought....
Though don't want to close the couch!! Will attempt care and tact (but am Sagittarius so not my strong point)

So, there is a sub forum for romantic feelings towards T. I guess because this may be v triggering for some people, also, if it doesn't apply to you then you may not wish to read about it (you lucky, lucky people).

Is there potential for a similar sub forum about negative experiences of T? For the same reasons as above?

Anyway, just thoughts...okay, I'm off to eat some quiche.

Oh, where are all the cats btw?
Thanks for this!

The cats got into a little tiff and got separated. The oldest is being cowed by the youngest. It would be funny if it didn't evoke such strong memories of bullying. So after repeated attempts to stop them, I put the youngest in the bathroom and closed the door.

They remind me of my kids. The oldest gets SO annoyed but has no recourse. Getting into a fistfight with a sibling might be part of growing up, but not with an age gap like theirs. She's old enough to know better, but the other one is still too young to care! (DD1 is 18, DD2 is 7.) There would be jail time!
