So, there is a sub forum for romantic feelings towards T. I guess because this may be v triggering for some people, also, if it doesn't apply to you then you may not wish to read about it (you lucky, lucky people).

Is there potential for a similar sub forum about negative experiences of T? For the same reasons as above?

Anyway, just thoughts...okay, I'm off to eat some quiche.

Oh, where are all the cats btw?

That would be a great idea!!! It would probably reduce some tension and give an easy way to avoid negative threads ( or access them),if you wanted to.

Some people suggest that every so often and it's always been rejected idea. it's also probably not a good place to discuss it but rather commiserating in p.m. may be the better part of valor. I'm not trying to tell anybody what they can or cannot do, it's just a suggestion to keep this thread open.

I added on "the battle of the pelennor fields " from the LOTR soundtrack, another Gaelic Storm song, "wilderness " by Ginny Ruff and 'Touch the Clouds" by Good Old War And called it good.

Well what are the rules of the forum then???I can't figure out anymore what is or isn't OK to say. I thought if we left out names, didn't use foul language and didn't personally attack or belittle anyone we could discuss what we wanted to. I'm now very confused. Its certainly not the first time things like that have shown up..on the couch but its never been shut down before.

We could have a subforum for POSITIVE T experiences if that is less stigmatizing. Either way works .

My BFF has one and it really helps her. And my parrot has had one for the past year and I swear my mood is better since he got it. Though he uses his year round.

Eta: parrot seems in a better mood. Too . but he lived in a closet for several years at the home I rescued him from so it may not be the light....

I am very glad i live in a highly sunny city. there was a week where it rained FOUR days in a row, and we all lost our minds a little. That happens so rarely.

TRIGGER WARNING FOR ANIMAL ILLNESS:

My ancient cat is hanging in there still. It is kind of crazy how tough she is and how happy she seemed until today. She has really seemed to be enjoying herself until today. Today is not a good day. H finally agreed that if she lives through today, we will take her to the vet tomorrow to do the deed. One would think that with as many animals I have surrounding me, this would not be as hard as it is.

I'm sorry. Remember that animals live in the moment. Make her last moments as happy as you can and then release her to.the universe . I'm sure she has had a beautiful life with you

Hey, I don't see a picture of a cat or a couch yet on the new couch...

Voila! Two subjects, one picture!

I think I am going to go into the city (an hour away) and get Starbucks. Regular coffee with a shot of espresso. Maybe two shots... O.O

My house is back. I'm exhausted and an emotional freaking mess. This was not the weekend for them to be here especially after the session I had on Thursday before they arrived. Everything is sooooo not okay.

Hi, couch. Just wanted to say I'll be taking a break from pc for awhile, it's hindering my own therapy as I am worrying about things that I shouldn't be with my own T. I'll check in again soon. Thanks for all the support and hopefully the break will help me some.

I'm lazy today! It's cold in here so I'm wrapped up like a burrito, and the white noise from the laundry duo is lulling me off to dreamland. See you later Couchies!

Advantage if a long solo road trip: you don't have to change your clothes every day! This outfit is still wearing well on day 3.

(And, yes, since certain people will wonder: I did change my undergotchies.)
