Happy New Year couchies!!

I have sat here for a few minutes now trying to put into words what I wish for all of us... and the words aren't coming out right... it has to do with finding peace within ourselves... I know I don't know any of you in 'real life' but you've all become a family of sorts to me, I appreciate you all, and wish the bestest for everyone this coming year. We got this y'all, truly we do, and every one of us deserves the happiness that we want for ourselves. Hugs all around to everyone, well everyone who wants them of course.

Well, I did not get to ring in the New Year. After I logged off of PC last night I laid in bed to wait for midnight, but fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. Oh well.

I am awake now though. I need to shower at some point before I head into CVS. Hoping it is a calm day. It is the staff pharm today, so she is fast at doing things, so we should stay caught up. Usually when the pharm manager is there we are scrambling to stay caught up as he has other things he has to take care of in addition to verifying prescriptions. The staff pharm only has to deal with verifying and consults. So she has a little more time to spare to help the techs when needed.

Well, I should go shower before I get involved in something else and run out of time. Later couch.

Okay...all squeaky clean now.

Now to surf the web until my eyes bleed or it is time to leave for CVS...whichever comes first.

You think there is not enough space between hugs and from in cant explains clip? Is there a defect in your screen? Or do you think there IS a space, but you cant see it?

Yeah it must be your operating system or your color - what color do you have your screen set to? Tulips or stg weird?

Can't be the operating system or the screen or my color because when I log out and look at a post I hugged there is a space between "hugs" and "from."

No no! But they probably choose a color FOR you when youre not logged in, and it does NOT have that error in it. You DO have the tulips color, dont you!! I can find out, ya know!

hey all. whats going on? I'm pretty bored. Forgot to get my paycheck at work wednesday so I have to go up there and get it today as I won't have time tomorrow. I have an orientation for the tax job tomorrow until 3 then I have to go see grandma for my mom.

The eight year old wants to come home, the stbx won't let her. I don't know what to tell her... I'll go pick her up whenever, but I can't if her father doesn't agree. And he won't because he's a selfish bastard. He hung up on me when I was talking to her earlier:/
Argh! I told her when she went back yesterday that I would pick her up today of she wanted But I can't! I'm going to have to have another far too adult for an eight year old conversation with her when she does come home It's not f-ing fair

It's hard to explain fully without giving away information I'd rather not (just because I'm skittish about the internet in general). Suffice to say they're trying to use this information against my husband.

For the most part it's pointless because I've never hidden the severity of my mental illness. The worst of it is hearing someone say nasty things about me *because* of my mental illness. It digs up a lot of hurt from being bullied in school and having had people tell me it was a character flaw and if I just "bucked up" and did X (insert favorite activity here) I'd suddenly get better.

And it makes me angry because my transparency in this has brought me into contact with people in our small town who have mental illness and have lived with stigma in silence.

What the hell is it with people using mental illness as a personal weakness??? Will someone explain this to me because I have had it up to my eyeballs with stigma.

That person trying to pull sh^t on your H - it'll come back to bite them in the arse. Most people don't have any time for this sort of thing and if you know about it, I'm sure lots of other people in your town know what they're doing. I'm guessing they don't approve

panicking! Grandma passed out at the facility and I'm waiting to hear from my aunt They are taking her to the hospital to get her checked out. Ugh! Panicking, Panicking, Panicking! I hate when something goes wrong with grandma. She has been sick with a cold. Now she passed out in the bathroom. ugh!

I played around with the options and - wow, I did not realize there were so many ways to make my viewing experience unattractive!

The space reappears in every option except for default and PsychCentral, which seem to be the same. Since I hate all the other viewing options, guess I'm gonna live with the improper spacing.

There should really be an emoticon shaking its fist at the heavens and screaming WHY?

Home from CVS. It was crazy. We were severely understaffed. Wow, I am beat.

In other news, I decided to sponsor one of the houses where the neglected kids I did things for Christmas live. The organization has 3 houses right now and is looking for people to make the kids feel special. I offered to take one house and make the kids there have special birthdays with a birthday outing, meal, cake, present, and outfit. The first birthday is coming up Jan 13th. It is a little girl who is going on 8. I just have to wait for them to get a wish list from her and give me her clothes size. The house they gave to me has 3 kids. I know how it feels to be forgotten, I don't want other kids to go through that.
