I think I posted last week that I was quitting therapy. Well, I'm not. I just got back from a big meeting (attendands: me, my mum, T, family T, pdoc) and I shared what I thought the therapist was doing wrong. T agreed she had made some mistakes and will try not to make them again. So I'm back in therapy.
Hoping it'll go better this round.

Is that the answer to the clue? Please explain?

And then how can it be American Gus Grissom - his real name was Virgil.

Gus Grissom was one of the early astronauts. He died in the Apollo 1 fire.
Thanks for this!

Never heard of him, so I googled. He died over three decades before I was born. I don't know much about astronauts - just know the names of Neil Armstrong and a guy from my home country.

Now I'm really wondering about the "Watches Grissom cross the road" clue.

CE said GUS-T-AV, so:

Gus = Grissom's nickname
T =
AV = audiovisual?

We're gonna have to wait for CE to explain...

Eta: never mind, I just got it. A "T" crossing.

Thanks, CE!

Reading 4 books at the same time this week. I either obsess or do nothing... T said we'll work on the obsessions/addictions after some other big stuff we're working on. For right now it's okay for me to obsess as long as I just keep her updated on it all. I hate therapy. I love therapy. How am I supposed to keep doing this for the next gazillion years? Probably just keep my eye on getting better, feeling better, knowing I'll get through this .....

eventually......

I hope....

I recommend trying sorghum syrup (the pure kind) on steel cut oats. I usually toss in a tablespoon of walnuts too and greek yogurt.

Rinse with salt water or hydrogen peroxide and water.
Put a small touch of alum on them (burns like the dickens at first).

Magic mouthwash - children's benadryl (liquid) and Milk of Magnesia or Maalox

It's a wordplay that doesn't really answer the clue.

Every word is key except for the: "Watches Grissom crossing the road" (6).

Grissom is Virgil Grissom, known as Gus. So GUS must be in there.

There is a type of road crossing known as a T crossing. So T must be in there.

Watches brings to mind audiovisual equipment, AV for short. So AV is there too.

Which spells GUSTAV, the name for which Gus is traditionally short.

At least that's how I make sense of CE's answer. CE probably has a better explanation.
Thanks for this!

The other thing that helps me is to use an sls free toothpaste. So I avoid toothpaste with
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in it until the canker sore heals.

Hello couch! Mood is more stable, it's warming up again, and why is there a direct link between temperature and temperament???

Talk to you later. . .
