On top of the refrigerator is usually a really warm spot.

Ah maybe that's why my older cat likes it! He seems to go up there when he's closed out of my son's room, otherwise he sleeps curled up in blankets on his bed.

Yup, that's where my older cat can be found as well... One of two places, fridge or under blankets. :-)

Makes sense. My other cat has no interest in getting up there. She's always trying to get into the fridge. She comes running as soon as she hears the door open, despite not liking human snacks.

Last night i spent 20 mins handfeeding the runty puppy these gourmet chicken meatball things becasue he won't eat anything the same size or smaller than a malteser by him self and I paid abit more than i wanted to for these things as they were the last things left in the supermarket that he might possibly eat.
Thanks for this!

If he were a cat, he would refuse to eat anything else in the future, just to get inside your head.

He is waiting for me to make his other meatballs with molasses and oats in them. I just haven't been up to it.

My parrot does this now that he has learned to fly. He perches up there. He also opens the cabinets and takes stuff out

I can't say I loved the scrum, but I loved hooking. Except one time we played this team at a tournament that was obviously way above our level. They has a TRAINER. They had matching warm ups. They had like 60,team members so they put a whole new team in at the half. And their hooker was INSANE. When we went to scrum she swung her head right into my face, knocked my head up and the scrum engaged on my throat. EVERY scrum she kept bashing my head with hers . I couldn't figure how she didn't have chronic brain trauma. I learned to counter it after a few scrums. We lost anyway but only by one penalty kick.
omg!! I might have ran the other way if I met an opposing team with a trainer and 60 team members!

I would probably have been killed - trampled most likely.
I was a terrible terrible player.

You are not a failure. You are a work in progress. And this therapy work is hard sometimes. Be gentle with yourself. if you want.

Thanks! I'm not sure I believe all that just yet but good to read once in a while.

On another note: anyone else keep notes on T and Pdoc sessions? I just feel like sessions are such a blur much of the time. I hardly remember my name some days(ok thats an exaggeration) but thats how bad my brain "feels" some days.

You are so not a failure. Life dealt you the type of hand that you have to work ten times harder than the average person to get by. And you're up there fighting the good fight. You're awesome

This couch seems very inviting!
I love the desert pictures, and the cat pictures. Something uplifting always helps.

Thanks! I dont feel that way though in terms of being awesome anyway. My life just sucks. Its getting rough again...sorry to be brutally honest...I kinda wish I were dead. Nothing too serious right now.

I takes notes both during and after my sessions, and I usually refer back to them when doing what I call my workings-out between sessions. Otherwise I forget things too.

Thanks to taking a 1-hour nap today because my daughter decided to get up super-early, plus some caffeine around 3, plus the daylight savings time thing, I'm wide awake at 11 p.m. my time (formerly known as 10 p.m.). Having another beer that I shouldn't have (since I had a few earlier), partly in an attempt to get sleepy, and partly because I'm nervous about seeing our marriage counselor tomorrow after having a panic attack in our session last week (Friday, since he had to cancel our usual Monday appointment).

Oh couch!! Forgive me that I only come to you when I feel down. You are a happy place to watch!!

I am married to a Jeckle/Hyde and I've spent most of the weekend with the bad Mr Hyde!! The Couch - 109: CIX-Reintroduction

He sends me to places I don't want to go and I feel like I've stepped in front of an 18 wheeler. Tread marks weight a ton. The Couch - 109: CIX-Reintroduction

I just wanted to tell you because I know you hear me. Tomorrow will be a better day hopefully!!

I will share something good tomorrow with you, couch.

Thank you for hearing me. The Couch - 109: CIX-Reintroduction

I am having the same difficulty with sleeping LT.. Daylight savings time, and anticipation of a week where my boss is out of town which make me the boss in charge of 13 employees and dealing with 38 kids at out facility.. I am nervous... And in charge of a week of special events at my kid's school this week. I have a feeling I will be living off of caffeine and stress. So yes, no sleep for me yet!

Tonight's song on repeat: "Velvet Waltz" by one of my favorite bands, Built to Spill
With the great line, "You thought of everything, but some things can't be thought. You thought of everything, but one thing you forgot (is you're wrong)."

And for just the lyrics, Built to Spill - Velvet Waltz Lyrics | SongMeanings
