The problem as I see it, whether we're talking mental/emotional disturbance or migraines or cancer, is that when mainstream Dr's say the cause is unknown, or there is no treatment other than drugs, or drugs are the best treatment… it's often simply not true.

My hope for Eden (or anyone) is that she can get comprehensive care, where somebody is taking a look at the whole picture and connecting the dots, instead of a bunch of specialists who just dispense pills.

BTW, I had moderately bad migraines for several years. Then they stopped. Not sure why. Maybe diet clean up. Have read from multiple sources that food sensitivities/allergies can be a cause. As can… wait for it… vitamin and mineral deficiencies.

I have repeatedly said that eden should try medication in order to become stable and rational enough to make use of therapy. Psychosis can be treated quite effectively, and with therapy she could get to the underlying issues that have led to the psychosis in the first place. I am not saying that they should just throw some pills at her! I am saying that in her current state she is not able to make use of therapy, because her extreme symptoms are stopping her from being able to examine the root causes. And if she can't see them, how can she deal with them?

I want comprehensive care for her as well. If she deals with whatever led her nervous system to create what she is experiencing today, she might not need to be on the medication after that. Meds can be temporary, just something that makes the work possible (at the moment it clearly isn't).

Everyone should have regular blood tests to make sure that what they are experiencing isn't caused, or made worse, by deficiencies. However, I had a blood test just a few weeks ago and I don't have any deficiencies at the moment. So actually, I do need the medication to relieve my migraines! Whether you like it or not, medication is what works for some people. I have tried other things. Also, migraines have been linked to bipolar disorder, as research shows that a significant percentage of people who have been diagnosed with BP also suffer from migraines.

Modern medicine is the reason why we live as long as we do today. There are many things that would have killed us in the past that now most likely won't because there are medical options available to treat these illnesses. I don't see what there is to object to.

Just a few decades ago, people were thrown in the "looney bin" and spent years locked up there because they were deemed "crazy" or "hysterical" or similar. No one knew what to do with the mentally ill. Many people were scared of them. But today the picture is different, because of medical advances. Many people who are diagnosed with a mental disorder can live full and productive lives with a combination of medication and therapy, instead of being cooped up in some soul-destroying and potentially abusive "madhouse". People can cope today. Progress has been made. I don't understand how that can mean so little to you.

I think it is clear that eden needs more than just a change of diet and some vitamin supplements. And what are the chances, do you think, of getting her to try those things at the moment? She's telling us that she's going to kill herself in less than two weeks, and you think there is time to sit back and look at the whole picture and try to change her eating habits? Someone's life is on the line right now! Immediate action is of critical importance! Once eden's life is out of danger, we can talk about "connecting the dots" because only then will she be able to work towards healing.

Dearest eden, wherever you are right now, please do whatever you can to stay safe. And please ask for help from the people in this world, because they are the ones who want to save you. The others in your head only want to harm you, they are not your allies and you need to get rid of them. I feel like I don't know what to say anymore. I just want you to live.
