If I leave for awhile I will be back. Don't want to disappoint my T. He says I can vent here all I want. Saves him from texting me.

Thats interesting - bane, boon. The first long vowel and the last ("u") denoting opposites. Wonder how often that happens?
Thanks for this!

I just got an email back that they're sending it to my home, free of charge.

After my ridiculous early bedtime I woke up ridiculously early (5:30) on a Saturday. Now I'm ready for housecleaning and decluttering. Happy weekend couch!

It is a coincidence, but an interesting one nonetheless

Spending my Saturday trying to write a conference paper. It is not a bad way to spend a day - I just wish I wasn't so nervous about the conference...

The true Southern watermelon is a boon apart, and not to be mentioned with commoner things. It is chief of this world's luxuries, king by the grace of God over all the fruits of the earth. When one has tasted it, he knows what the angels eat. It was not a Southern watermelon that Eve took: we know it because she repented.

Good morning, couch! A couple pics from yesterday. This one is at Wupatki National Monument - these were built by the Ancient Pueblo people, more specifically the Cohonina, Anasazi, and Sinagua. It was first inhabited around 500 AD.

I think I missed a link in there - why are you lamenting about facebook - was it in reference to something here?
Facebook does seem to cause a lot of lamenting.

Twain wrote this beautiful piece about the watermelon - which takes a lot of guts, let alone creativity etc. Contrast with how we express ourselves now. I declined to use emoji out of deference to your preference.

.
Ah. But we do still have writers - and I don't think most people wrote like Twain even before facebook.

I appreciate the no picture thing. I would have had to ask for clarification for that also.
