T said today "remember that TV documentary we had both seem before about foster parents. How one foster couple took on an 5yr old boy who didn't know how to cry or ask for what he needed? How they had to teach him is on to cry and ask for what he needed. Well that's how I feel when you're here. You remind me of that 5yr old boy.

What was your response? That was an interesting thing for your t to say but I don't know how I would take it.

I didn't respond. It made me feel cared about. That T watched something which brought me to mind and still does. I felt seen. Understood. Worthy of thought.

I get that. It is nice. She probably also sees some vulnerability in you but reacts the right way towards it.
