hahaha...no, that word just makes me irrationally angry I don't mind the word "panties," and many people loathe that word.

I refer to it as "self-help." I have never uttered "the m word" and don't see a need to. Gets the point across.

Also makes the bookstore funnier.

I can talk about sex quite easily. It's like a skill I developed over the years - I decided years ago that as an adult I needed to look like I was completely comfortable with the subject. And I am. In theory. In practice though I have only ever had one partner, (not counting a few drunken half-way-theres) and I had to completely shut down all my automatic responses to letting someone that near to me to do it. And, as most of the couch knows, that really didn't end well.
I like the idea of sex. I love the idea of sex. I want to be free and comfortable to have sex with whoever the f- I want... I'll get there I suppose...

I don't find sex all that hard to talk about as a general proposition.

BY - is something going on?

Nothing's going on. Maybe that is the problem. I may have to make something happen. Thanks for the push SD. As in motivation, not cliff.

Sometimes when I'm feeling really sh^tty the best thing I can do is move, just do anything at all. Just stay safe girl, okay?

Spontaneous combustion might be the only solution.

I'll take chit-chat. Did the dogs get out tonight?

Yes - the rain held off. I even got the middle dog on his walk - and he doesn't really like walks.

Don't spontaneously combust on us. There'd be a dearth of puns on the couch.
This glass of wine has hit me rather harder than usual...
I'm trying to find that Tina Fey pew pew meme. No luck. I my have to settle for a cat cover.

What dog doesn't like walks? I thought the canine motto was Ambulo, Ergo Sum.

It's from the last presidential election, when Sarah Palin was John McCain's running mate. Comedy gold. Maybe I'll just post the skit altogether.

Junior cat's motto is Dormio, Ergo Sum. On a shield with two lions couchant. (I don't know my heraldic jargon very well.)

My cats' motto is apparently run around the house like lunatics knocking stuff over followed by hide in the couch for a few hours, ergo sum. Translate that one, o Latin scholars

Need to get my arse off this chair and put children to bed. Don't want to. Well, I want the children to be in bed, I'd just rather have someone else do it for me...
