Am absolutely knckered now. It was a pretty taxing programme, with music from the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th century, as well as a piece written this year. We're going to sing it on tour in Germany next month.
I really like the king's singers and go see them every time they come to town.
I prefer Allison Krause's version of this particular song.

Our next tour is Scandanavia but I doubt I will be going. College payments coming up. Someday . . .
Well, if you were coming to Scandinavia, and if it were somewhere within my reach, I'd make a point of coming to listen

It's going to be a very brief tour, but very intense - three concerts in four days. And we'll be singing in Cologne Cathedral which I do look forward to.

The Kings Singers performed in my home town last autumn but I was too depressed and apathetic to get a ticket to the performance.

I liked the Allison Kraus recording. Thanks!

It sounds lovely. I wish I could make the Scandinavia trip but I doubt it will be in my budget. The symphony association picks up about half the tab for each member, but I know the Italy/France trip two summers ago still ran over $2000. We did have some members who paid their whole way so that the symphony's contribution could be applied to members who couldn't afford the trip, so it could be a remote possibility, but with a son headed to college next year, I have to make wiser financial decisions. One day. We tour about every 3rd year.

I suspected Scandinavia would be our next trip because our chorus director is fluent in Swedish (I think that's the one) and spent about a month there as a representative of some choral director's association working with choirs in Sweden. He's an interesting man. Fluent and degreed in quite a few languages, one of which is Spanish. He spent several weeks doing the same in Cuba a few months ago. He came back sharing stories and saying he's a latino trapped in a Scandinavian body. He keeps us laughing.

It is raining, I am all achy and feverish. When the puppy finishes his people watching i will curl up in bed again.
The people downstairs were partying and fighting last night again. I did not sleep well and can only imagine how well Mr Yacht and his new partner slept as there is just a thin wall of gyprock between them. I am emailing the real estate today to see if they can do something.

Back in bed. I thought it would be a nice rest but the puppy keeps sitting on my chest and shoving his face into mine whenever I cough. He has been banished to the foot of the bed but we will see how long that lasts for.

I need to go back to T, or I need anger management, or else one of you please come bail me out of jail. I know better but I've completely lost control of my anger and the words just explode up my throat and fly out of my mouth. My teen and her boyfriend are really pushing it this weekend. I can't wait to go back to work tomorrow, at least I get paid for my frustrations there.

Put the problem and make and year of the truck in youtube or as a search and see if youtube has a video.
I have found there is a video for almost everything how to do thing.

Here is a general one for broken hood latches (and there are about 8 others just on the same page as this one)

I had this happen once on a rental car in Europe. We got it open by me pushing down on the hood above the release point while FEH pulled at the inside release lever.

If it is broken and not stuck, it's going to need to be repaired eventually even if you get it open this time.

Do you have something long and thin to stick through the grille to try to move the actual lever inside the hood?

Your fingers should be long enough to get in there and push it open. You probably can't get enough torque on a stique. Get a flashlight and get eyes on it, that will help. Yep been there done that!

Just asked my h. He said to grab the cable from where it broke with a pair of pliers and pull it. Or. Go behind the grill from underneath and see if you can see the cable. Pull the broken cable with a pair of pliers.

it's a 2003 izusu rodeo . He took the plastic grill off, then took off the release mechanism, and got the hood open. Now he's trying to figure out how to shorten the cable - it's like the cable is too long and won't release the mechanism.

The Couch 116: Puns Tsar Terrible...

Homemade tortellini (garlic/cheesd) with ham, peas, mint, parmigiano, lemon, and olive oil. So good.
