I think I have autocorrect in my brain now - I saw vibrat- in Art's posts and, um, did NOT put -ions on the end, but the other possible noun ending.
Thanks for this!

Aside from Raffi or disney, I am not sure there is.

Spent most of the morning looking at rentals. The one that looked nice on the web was nice except it failed the window rule. I like to be able to see whats approaching, real and imagined. Another one was more what I wanted but was the last house before the entrance gates to the airport so the road would be reasonably busy most days. I am spoiled in my current place as it meets all my safety needs: high up, lots of windows and 4 exits.

Tin foil hats don't stop reading/song connections.

I need a distracting movie. Any suggestions? Old or new I'll find a way to watch it.

Last night I watched The Big Lewbowski as I had never seen it before (and old psychodynamic T relates very much to the Dude- kept my mind off the other one)

I probably don't need anything therapy related---Ordinary People would make my tear ducts explode right now. Any suggestions? Classics I may have missed?
Thanks for this!

For mindless movies I like fun happy ones - Pitch Perfect, Wet Hot American Summer, Clueless, Dr. Strangelove, Best in Show or Waiting for Guffman, Robinhood Men in Tights, the Austin Powers movies, The wedding banquet. Doris Day movies. Hot Shots!, SpaceBalls (I like spoofs)
I also like happy musicals - guys and dolls, hello dolly etc.
I also like All That Jazz - which is not all that super happy but I think it is very funny.

If you liked Lebowski, try another Coen Brothers movie?

Unfortunately my tastes in movies tend to be dark and I don't think that's what you're looking for. One of my favorite bad mood movies is "The Warriors," which ought to be widely available. A journey with a happy ending. Kind of inspiring. Nothing about therapy.

There should really be a scoreboard for these.

And I'm still trying to figure out how to get an Ack and a Good lord in the same post. Aim high, ya know?

I would snort in derision and throw my arms in the air, exhausted by your constant tomfoolery.

Dark is OK as long as it doesn't involve therapy (No Good Will Hunting )

Do you mean the 1979 Warriors gang movie (Have not seen) or "Once Were Warriors " the Maori movie (love!)

I'm trying to think of what Cohen Bros movie I haven't seen. I really liked Hail Ceasar but the rest of the world went "meh".

Open to dark stuff too!

How do you feel about opera? Youtube has full operas and many of them are quite dark.Silly plots, but dark.

What about Edward II - directed by derek jarman and has Tilda Swinton in it. Dark and Shakespeare and Swinton.
