I need to go to Goodwill also. Moving day is Saturday. And we are moving from the house that we have been in for 30 years, raised kids in etc. I should be packing not hanging on PC.

So I guess now I have been moving-date shamed. LOL Off to pack!

You and me both!! In between cleaning sorting and packing I'm on PC. Lots of breaks here as you can tell. I need everything sorted for the 28th.

Technically, this moving co will pack everything but I don't want to pack plastic storage containers if the lids are missing. Or continue to move stuff thats been moved 3 tines without being touched.

Good luck with your move too!

Wow Art thats like 45 degC! Good luck to all the movers I tend to move often so keep everything light.

I really don't want to go to T today. I have never not wanted to go, I have been apprehensive, etc but never not wanted to go. I wonder what that is all about? I really want to finish talking about the picture re my brother but I don't at the same time. Too late to cancel now. he will want to talk about my little tantrum over the appointments last time, i bet.

I'm moving in a little less than two weeks. My luggage consists of two suitcases and junior cat.

Packing the suitcases will be easy. Packing junior cat will not. He believes cats should fly first-class on flights, not be stuck under the seat in a carrier.

Don't animals have to go in the cargo hold over there?

Cats and small dogs can go in the cabin in carriers between and inside the US, most of Europe, and Canada.

However they count as a carry-on item.

We are taking a PTSD cat with us. And way way more than 2 suitcases. But I think the cat will take the move the hardest. He'll get to ride in the car. I wonder if we should attempt to put him in a carrier. Hmmm. And I probably need to think about how we will keep him from escaping from the new house. That would be bad.

The worst driving experience of my life was in Phoenix, during rush hour, moving in for grad school - senior cat got out of her carrier and lay down as far under the brake pedal as she could go.

I'd at least put a harness on him. Although as I understand it, Lesson 5 in Basic Cat 101 is How to Escape Your Harness in 30 Seconds.

When we lived in Sydney our cat loved her harness. You could see us with all the beautiful people walking their ferrets.

Downfall of being friends and fb friends with t's wife.. Every once in awhile in my feed my t's face will appear. This time it is a picture of my t and his wife., they are out of town celebrating their anniversary. And it's not that I am not used to seeing t out of his office. I think it was I have been thinking about emailing t and telling him I took the meds we have been talking about. But- now knowing that he is apparently taking time off to be with his wife I probably won't. And I don't know how I feel about that. I mean I know that if he doesn't want to read/respond to emails he can make that decision. But now I feel responsible like I know he is out of town and I shouldn't bother him.

Any advice on how to get wasps to vacate my trash can? They have a nest by the lid and I can't get my trash can to the curb for trash day tomorrow. I don't have any wasp spray!

I took the girls to the lake, got quite a bit red despite slathering myself in sunscreen, and we all fought over the shower when we got home. DD2 said someone (BayBrony perhaps?) dumped an ocean full of glitter in the lake. I don't have the heart to tell her it's probably fish scales!

Then we went out for Mexican food, a rare treat. Now I'm procrastinating about going to sleep for work tomorrow, I'd rather stay up late reading. Hmm should I let my inner child win this one, or will adulting prevail?

Evening couch.

CVS was crazy today. On;y 2 techs on. We did not get everything finished. It was impossible, we were understaffed. Stupid corporate scheduler saying 2 techs would be enough today based on the magic formula they use to determine the number. Oh well, we did what we could.

Dad kept texting me while I was at work asking if I was coming over for father's day. I kept responding but his texts got uglier and uglier. The last one said, I guess you hate me since you are not answering. I got this one as I was leaving work, so I called him...he swore he did not receive my responses. Then 2 minutes later he said he just got them all at once. Strange. Wonder if it was his phone or my phone being screwy.

Came home and did some school work. I still have a bit more to do before midnight tomorrow night (Arizona time), so I can get it done tomorrow morning. Just chilling now. Pretty tired though, so I will probably head to bed early tonight.

Later, couch.

Googling suggests that dishwasher soap mixed with water and sprayed by a hose works.

Getting Rid of Wasps Naturally

Another site suggested using a "sandwich full of water"...I can't even imagine what that would look like. (But it probably doesn't have too many calories!)
