Evening couch. It is suppertime, yet I am not hungry. Oh well, I can always eat later.

I went to AT&T today to see about upgrading my phone. They no longer have 2-year contracts, so the days of getting an older model phone for $1 with a 2-year contract are a thing of the past. I did not know this as I am on my mom's plan. They now only have recent models and pay each month on the phone. Geez. I asked them about getting an older model (yet still newer than my current phone) on Amazon and they said that was not possible because only the phones in the store were compatible with AT&T. Yet, the phones on Amazon say they can be used with AT&T. Maybe the guy was just trying to make a sale?!? I have to talk to my mom about it, since it would add to her monthly bill, though I could pay her each month for my adding on part. Yet, I do not like the pay on the phone each month, I would rather buy one right out and own the phone and not have to worry about making payments each month. I dunno. I need a newer model though because mine keeps freezing even if I turn it off and back on. It is "old" though. iPhone 4. I bought it 3 years ago new (was still an old model then, but was a brand new phone, not refurbished or anything). It's just old...and not much memory. Maybe that is my problem, I have too much of the memory filled?!? It is only 8GB. I dunno.

Squirrel - check out your local craigslist or the swappa site (Swappa.com) for used phones. I have purchased two iphones from there and they worked great. I would advise anyone to get a phone with 32 or more gb of storage.

I thought it summed it up nicely - "this is a very simple game. you throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball."

"Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains."

One of my MILs predeceased our marriage, the other one - the future ex-MIL - all the other drama queens and mean girls I've known pale beside her.

A happy by-product of pre-lgbt marriage - no mother's in laws or (for me - far worse) father's in laws either.

I am watching you tube opera.
There must be some odd opera phrases I could throw in here.

I've always liked the term Singspiel. Although that is not odd, just German.

German has a lot of odd terms - so does Italian.
But they are usually odd because they are in a foreign language from english - not because they are in and of themselves odd.

I have got to find a decent decaf coffee - I like drinking coffee but I had a cup of regular homemade cold brew concentrate this afternoon (it was diluted) and now I can feel my pulse pounding.

I am hoping to find one I can mix with my usual french roast to make 1/2 caff 1/2 decaff.
Full caff for more than one cup seriously screws with my system.

WTF?!? My landlord's grandson took my last Vanilla Coke that was cold. I went out to get it and put more in and it was gone. I see it sitting beside him on the couch empty. My housemates and I are usually good about leaving each other's things alone. I wonder if she knows her grandson took it. I don't want to complain to her, but WTF?!? It was in my drawer with all my other stuff. The drawer says "Squirrel" on it. WTF?!? Now I have nothing cold to drink. WTF?!?

Oh Squirrel thats aweful esp as he is related to the landlord. I know when I shared a house one person used to buy too much stuff for her shelf and usd to put the excess on others shelves and the confusion was annying as we never ate her stuff but she "accidently" ate ours.

It can't beaccidental if your drawer was clearly marked. Could you ask him if intends to replace it?
Thanks for this!

Sleeplessness is just no fun. Summer is just too stressful, especially since it is supposed to be relaxing. I can't shut my brain down. Last T session before his vacation is in a few hours. Wtf am I supposed to say to him?

Another WTF? I just logged into my classroom and I still have no response from my teacher. The university says they should respond within 24 hours. It has been 2 and a half says since I sent the original question (not the followup but the original). I need a clarification to keep working on my assignment. I am getting a little irked. She has not logged on in 3 days according to her profile.

Okay, I am knocking in the landlord's door and complaining. I just went out to throw something away and caught him going into my drawer and getting on of the warm ones I just put in. I asked him why he was taking things out of my drawer. His response..."I need caffeine and my grandma only has stuff without it. WTF?!? Those are MINE!!!! I am not providing a teenager with free drinks. I drink of them enough on my own. WTF?!?
