Can anyone recommend an online therapy site where you chat with a therapist?
I understand you have to pay for the service, but I am looking for one that folks have used. Thanks.
Thanks for this!

While I haven't used an online therapy site, i have read posts by PC members who have. Hopefully, someone will answer you soon.

Meanwhile, you might want to use the PC search section to see previous posts about this topic.

Best wishes to you.

I used an online therapy website called, "Better help" which I thought was very good. I believe that I could have had a telephone call included in my free trial, but I just emailed back and forth about an issue that I had with my current T. I was trying to decide if I should tell my current T that I had "been Google Stalking her" because I had been feeling very guilty about it.

The online T wrote, ""If you were to disclose to me, as your therapist, all that you've been thinking, I promise you that I would be grateful for your honesty and willingness to confront your discomfort, and always without judgment. It is where trust and honesty meet that the most effective therapy happens. And it is then that the client begins to grow, to experience relief. I wish you courage and confidence in the belief that only good can come from honest self-disclosure."

I took her advice and told my T and my T was not only mad but hurt and the whole thing backfired on me. I think that it could have gone either way with my T and I really don't think that I was given bad advice even thought it didn't work out how i wanted it to.

Good luck if you give them a try.

I have used betterhelp to, I have gotten, bad to mediocre and I've gotten amazing and spot on!! If you don't mesh, you can always ask to switch. I have personally had a great experience w David N. I also have had an amazing, great experience w Kat from talkspace, pretty much the rest of their therapist stunk though.
