Hi guys. Busy busy weekend!! Crazy weekend!!

I found out about 2 months ago, that I was going to be a "Ya Ya" (my name for grandma) and I feel so happy. The mom got severely dehydrated and we wound in the ER. She is doing much better and promises to drink more water. She's been so very nauseous and has had a hard time. Hopefully she will get past that point!!

Found some peace this afternoon with my plants. Here's the latest arrangement. Hope it makes someone happy who is a beach lover, like me. Couch 124 - Discussions & more!

Wow - well that was emotionally exhausting. I just spent the last hour working on that Active Imagination conversing with dream-son. It is 3 typed pages long. This work can be really draining sometimes. I was crying halfway though it. I am really mean to myself sometimes. Sigh.

Welp, one thing I know for sure my t will never say about me - she will never say that I don't do my homework!!
Thanks for this!

Apologies if that's my thread...

Nonono. Not your fault. It has been a problem I have had since I came here 4 or so years ago. I know I shouldn't do it but I do anyway. I also want to know if these compliments are spontaneous or solicited from the client. Personally I wouldn't trust a complimet i had pried from someone.

Thank you!! They do kind a look like bunnies now that you said that. They are flip flops and they are my favorite form of footwear when it's warm. Couch 124 - Discussions & more!. Then winter comes and my toes go into hibernation in my boots. Couch 124 - Discussions & more!

When it comes to t compliments it's probably best to take them with a grain of salt. I especially love stopdog's Lake Woebegone reference. All we all so smart brave and resilient... Ehhhhh..

Ok I got a question...is it ok in the midst of such grief that I am going through to wish I were numb? The pain seems nearly unbearable...I might even be crashing or already in a pretty awful depression. Seriously suicidal for the last few days though that seems to be subsiding now. Today it's been more wavy than constant. This is foreign...I mean I've lost a lot of people in my life but the only other so close was my sister when I was 9. I know I see T Tuesday but I'm not sure what she can even do. How can she help? Really, I only scheduled it in reaction to grandma dying and my mom has said it's the last session she'll pay for. What if I end up needing her more down the road and can't cuz I don't have a job yet. UGH!

I agree!! With Christmas coming up I'm seeing the bunny ears on the jammies of the kid in "A Christmas Story". I think that's the name of it. His grandma makes him pajamas with bunny feet. Couch 124 - Discussions & more!

DD why is your mom not paying for therapy? Surely she must know that you need more than one session!! I'm sorry for all that you are going through!

So I'm debating whether or not I should email t the Active Imagination I did this evening. It's 2.5 pages long (I made smaller margins lol), and we have only 30 minutes scheduled for Wednesday. I feel guilty sending it knowing she'll probably read it on her own time before my session. But I don't want to use half my session reading it to her. I'm just feeling so darn needy lately... that I want to send it. She's never told me not to send stuff, after all. I think I'm going to just send it. I love how I talk myself into things like this here.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: we are two nations...er, three...er, four!...divided by a common language.

What's that, you say? Someone named Shaw said it first? Doesn't count...shouldn't he have been talking in Gaelic?
Thanks for this!

George Bernard Shaw is correct.

I love the bunny flip flops.

I am just creative enough, that I should crochet something to put on my flip flops. This has inspired me to do so!!

Apparently she can't afford $40. And lately I was going once every 8 weeks. Seriously? Cutting me off now is terrible. I will get a job eventhough my anxiety is off the charts when I work. It was that way even on meds. I don't think she'd seriously say no if I'm really struggling. We'll see.

I just emailed the Active to t, telling her that "little miss needy-pants here" wanted to send it tonight. Yep, that's me. Little Miss Needy-pants. I may have to change my username.

eta: I made it my title instead.

I have never eaten kiwi. Has anyone ever tasted saguaro cactus fruit? I've only tried it once but I thought it was surprisingly good.
