I'm so glad you were able to switch to her private practice when you did.

Would anyone be bothered if they found a single flower (carnation) wrapped in tissue, tucked next to their car's side view mirror? I found it when I returned to my car after therapy last week. It made me feel watched. But maybe it was just someone being nice? The thing is, I don't live there or work there, and I don't know anyone in the area.

I would find it a bit creepy. Perhaps it's a case mistaken identity?
Thanks for this!

Maybe. Although I don't see many cars like mine around. It's possible.

Been there with something similar. I found it creepy.

By the way, what color was it? Language of flowers and all that.

Eta: is there anything on your car like a bumper sticker that might distinguish it? And did you see any other cars with a flower?
Thanks for this!

It reminds me of when I was in college and I found a note on my windshield written by a guy I only faintly remembered in passing. He said he'd been watching me for months and was obsessed, wanted to go away with me, etc. I don't remember how that ended. I think it was a painful episode of either not responding or telling him to leave me alone...and he left town. Never heard from him again.

I don't like fathers day. I don't hate it like valentines or new years or walpurgis, but it's painful. For more reasons than one.

I'm trying to convince myself that my body's apparent desire to stay in bed and sleep all day is legitimate and should be honored.

(It doesn't feel like the depression urge to sleep.)

It is legitimate! I would jump at the opportunity if it arose
(I love my sleep - It's just after 8pm here and I'm already in bed)

I love sleeping too! I'm fighting a nap right this minute, I have to go get the little from her friend's house in a bit. What does it say about my life (and the life my kids have to lead because of me) that this is the first friend she's made? Third grade, never been to a sleepover, never invited a friend to our house. Well, it's changing now, and I can't say I'm thrilled about it, because it throws off my routine. . . and deprived me of my nap!

I found some lemon creme oreos recently, they did not last long at all in my house. Yum!
