Although Kashi did call out something I said sounded like Sheldon on the Big Bang theory. Ouch. At least he was honest in the moment.

The first describes me as challenging when she is talking about how I deal with therapists. The second does not see me that way.
They have both described me as gentle and patient in dealing with my sick person. Which is quite humorous because gentle/patient are not adjectives used to describe me ever by anyone. They both use them because they are trying to be manipulative and push their own agenda.

My T also calls me stubborn a lot. I find it somewhat demeaning - I never argue or disagree for the sake of arguing or disagreeing. If I disagree it's because I have a good reason and if I argue it's because I need more information or I need more convincing.

Sometimes being stubborn can be a good thing

I think so, too. But the way my T says it it's like she means "purposely difficult".

Oh! He reminded me of another one today! We were talking about the self care thread. I said how it only took me ten years to figure out what he was doing. He said stg like, "that fast?" But somehow he says it in a way that makes me sound like a whiz kid, not sarcastically.
Reminds me of that joke where the person is complaining about having lost at cards. The other person asks, "Poker face?" 1st person: "no but i wanted to (poke 'er face)". |

The first has called me stubborn and has said she can't read me.
The second has called me stoic and said she could not read me.
