missing therapist

She left for another position and I had to say goodbye last week. I knew it was coming for months, but still it was hard. It's hard to think I will probably never see her again, and if I do run into her in town, it will be weird. I think about her all the time and want to cry alot and sometimes I can't cry. I miss her so much, and I know it wasn't like she was my friend but still she was a big support in my life. I try to remember everything she ever said to me. Nothing she ever said was hurtful, always helpful, and I am going to miss her always.

i had a Pdoc, in Oklahoma, that i really liked. she got a promotion to be head of the Psychiatry and Psychology department at a huge medical school. on one hand, i was so proud of her and on the other hand, i didn't want to lose her........

That is really rough Bipolar! (((((Bipolar))))) I truly feel for you. Let us know how it goes with the new therapist. Remember that it takes time to build up a reltionship and bond with the new T as it probably did with the old T. I know that it just doesn't feel the same with a new T but hopefully over time it may. How do you like this new one?
