So, I didn't see T last week due to him being on vacation. I texted him today and asked him if I could have an extra day this week, and he is gone until Wednesday. He said he would check to see if he has Thursday available when he goes in on Wednesday. I am dealing with major anxiety and issues at work and am having a difficult time with the changes in my schedule, as he was out for two weeks for Thanksgiving. I know it's the holidays, I intellectually understand and believe he deserves a break from work, like I'm getting. Emotionally, dealing with my issues and with the break in therapy is a major struggle. He's an excellent T, and I'm not complaining about him, but I'm still struggling to deal with my massive fear and anxiety. I feel so alone although I don't want to feel this way.

I hope he can find an extra session for you. I can relate--I recently told T, I'm glad you're getting a break, but it is hard for me! Both are true.

I hope you can get extra session, Tsunami. I used online counseling when my t was not available for weeks. That helped to have some professional to talk to, although it cannot be replacement of true session. I could find free trials for 1 week and I did not continue, so it did not cost anything. |

Bravo to you for letting your T know what you need, no matter what the outcome.
