How many days does your T see clients?
Is your T in private practice or with an agency/centre etc?
And how would you describe your T's office space?

My T sees clients 3 days a week
Is in private practice
And is in a lovely building with other colleagues she supervises

My therapist worked Monday through Friday, 9AM to 6PM with a break for lunch. He is in private practice but located in an office that houses several pdocs, psychologists, and various other therapists. It is a very nice office; very comfortable.
Thanks for this!

My T sees people 5 days a week, Mon-Fri, and between 7am-2pm.

She works at a large counseling center with T's and pdocs, but the center is technically a private practice. It's just a large office space at the end of the day with a bunch of rooms, but it does feel very "homey" with the calm, soothing atmosphere. (Lots of pretty paintings, comfy chairs, you get it..)

The good thing is that each room has a window. It makes you feel like you're not trapped (lol) or in a cave. I've been in random offices (some days a T has one office, and the other day that T will have a different office... Some of them get moved around because of every T's schedule.)
Thanks for this!

Both are in renovated old houses that have other therapists or professionals with individual offices - sole practitioners with no reception or staff. The first one works 2 days I think and the second one works 1 day a week. Both are in their 70s and semi - retired. The first is no longer taking new clients.

My T sees clients two days a week. Other weekdays she teaches psychology at a University.
She shares an office with other MH professionals.
Her therapy office is in a medium-sized office building near downtown.

T is 70.

Reception- Friendly staff are located behind a locked sliding glass window. The door leading to the therapist's offices is also locked. Clients must be buzzed through to go in or to leave. That kind of concerned me but I'm over it. Lol

Waiting room- furniture in the is a bit worn and not very comfortable. There is a generous amount of current popular magazines. WiFi available. There is a kid's corner complete with Lego table, large shelves with bins of toys and children's books.

T's office- once you are buzzed through you have a short walk down a hall past other T offices. T's office is pleasant. The motif or theme of the office seems to be a "jungle." She has a few pictures on the wall. One is of a giraffe mother kissing a baby giraffe. Another picture is of trees...bamboo-like. Difficult for me to describe.

As you look into the room starting at the farthest wall you will see a large window complete with a colored blind. T's desk is in the corner next to the window. She usually has her laptop open on it, knickknacks, table lamp, potted plant and misc. Next to T's desk you would see a free standing plant stand with plant, a larger thriving potted plant in the opposite corner. Next to the plants there is a giant stuffed toy giraffe.

There is a book shelf containing books, knickknacks, and three small stuffed animals (that belong to me, actually.)

Coming closer to the office door we have two matching eggshell-colored upholstered chairs with a small black table between them. T sits on one of these chairs...there is a folded throw blanket draped across the back of her chair.

The client's vinyl love seat Is placed beside the office door. There is a large stuffed toy cat on the floor behind T's chair.
Thanks for this!

I don't know how many days a week she works, i guess M-F since she doesn't do weekends anymore. She's in private practice. Her office is in her home (w a separate entrance) and it's a very comfortable space, very relaxing. Oh yeah it has 2 windows.

Mine works 4 or 5 days a week (some Saturdays she works, others she's off). She is a contract employee for a center of several counselors, as I think most Ts around here are. Her supervisor is the owner/manager of the offices and a T herself. My T works at two locations, both part of the same counseling group. The office space is modern, but cozy if that makes any sense.

My T sees clients 5 (sometimes 6) days per week. She is in private practice in a holistic health / meditation center with many other various practitioners (psychotherapists, psychiatrists, acupuncturists, Reiki practitioners, physical and massage therapists, yoga / Tai Chi instructors, etc.). The center is absolutely beautiful and the smell of incense is very calming for me. My T's office is probably best described as minimalist --- a couch, a chair, small desk, rug, window, and a picture on the wall of a nature scene. I love it.

Mine sees clients 4 days a week, from around noon to 8 pm.

He works alone in two offices, one in a countryish/suburban area, the other in the middle of a big city. I've seen him in both places. The suburban one is very simple, in an old house, and his city one is very sleek and expensive looking. He is very into style. I much prefer the simpler office, though the city one is objectively far more beautiful.

It's a center, not private practice. I'm not sure about his schedule, but he works tooooo much!
He also works in ambulance as a psychiatrist. So he's very busy.

I don't really care about office. It's okay.

My T works 2 days a week. She's in private practice. Her office is nice. There are other Ts office's who share the waiting room. She shares her office with another T. It's nice and cozy.

My T see clients Monday through Friday, though Tuesday and Thursdays he doesn't see as many b/c he teaches a college course on those days. My T is in private practice and is a co-owner, the practice has about 12 other ts. T's office space really is remarkable. He has his desk, book shelf, another shelf with pictures of family. He does have some "toys" hanging around. Action figure type things, bobble heads, stuff like that.

My T works M-F, 9-5. She works in my university's counseling clinic. The waiting room and her office are pretty bland. Her office has some artwork of her hometown and pictures of her dog, and there are nice cozy chairs. I don't pay much attention to my surroundings, though.

My T works privately.
I honestly don't know how many she sees.
But she has other interests so doesn't put all her eggs into 1 basket being a T.
She runs a group for children with communication problems.
She has an adult son with autism so dedicates time to him.
That's about it really.

The sees clients one day a week from 9am to an out 7:30. Occasionally she goes to 8:30 pm if needed. She recently moved two hours away but continues to come here for medical appointments. When she does she will also schedule clients as well. She is in private practice. Her new office is very cozy. It is in an old converted house that various therapist's rent space. The waiting room is nice enough but I try not to use it. I have run into coworkers and patients from my work.

Seems to vary.
Works in a methadone clinic.
Looks like...a methadone clinic.

My T is in private practice. She sees clients from a home office, which is very comfortable. She sees clients generally on one afternoon and one morning a week. She is a professor in the counselor education department at the local university full-time.

T1 has 2 offices, no receptionist at either. Both offices have a separate entrance/exit so you don't see the person before or after. One office is more professional-seeming. The furniture is more modern, newer, it's in a downtown office. The other is more homey-it's in a little house in the country. Lighting is dimmer, you can see cornfields out of the windows. Depending on where you sit you can watch a bird feeder. I like to be able to see out of the windows.

T2 and T3 have offices in a busy practice. I don't like the waiting room, it is sometimes crowded and T3 always runs late so I wait for a while. Their offices both have windows, which is nice.

all 3 have chairs and couches.

They all work M-F. T3 works 1:30-8:30 pm. The others work more normal daytime hours. T1 will work late if he can't get everyone in during the day, and lately has been working more evenings because he is doing a huge remodeling project and needs to meet with contractors during the day. I avoid afternoon appointments with T1 because he is often tired then and I don't appreciate that.

My T works 2 days per week and works in private practice. Her office is in her home, no separate entrance but there has never been anyone else home the whole 2 years I've been going there. T leaves all the doors open so I know no one else is there as she has wooden flooring and I would hear them. Her office is small but cosy, nice bookshelves and I can see through her living room and out into her garden.

1) I don't honestly know. She has mixed days/hours. She has low-income, working-class and families as clients so I know she does evenings and weekends (which is why I went to her) I used to see her on the weekends but then I got a regular weekday evening gig. I assume she takes some weekdays off but I don't know which ones.
2) I think it's a group agency? The name of the business on her card has other locations.
3) A house-style office building. Not a renovated residence but one of those beige two-story buildings made to look like a "house" that has other businesses. There is no secretary. Just a door to a waiting room that leads into other offices down the hall.
