Hello, couch! I hope everyone is having a good day. I finally got some sleep last night (after taking some Tylenol PM) so I feel like myself again. I'm going on a day trip with one of my girlfriends to the beach today. I'll try to post some pictures later. Hugs to you all Couch 136: Transference Welcome!

Can't get my contacts in today, eyes are irritated and feel gritty. Cold seems to have settled into my throat and chest with slight sinus headache to make things more lovely. I'm off this afternoon to take DD1 to her counseling that we missed last Wednesday due to tornadic storms. I wonder how many hours I've spent in the parking lot over the last few years?

Happy Wednesday couch!

Has anyone here watched "13 reasons why"? I think I read someone, but I can't remember who... If you watched it, how triggering is it? I'd like to watch it, but I feel rather unstable, so I don't know how smart that is... But then I'm not sure if not doing anything could be worse.

QM: Yay! Hope your boss approves. When will you know?
We have friday and monday off due to easter, do you have that too?

StressedMess: Hope you get well soon...

Daisy: Waiting for pictures I hope you have a wonderful day

Morning couchies. I'm worrying about my son, he shared with me last night some of the stuff in his head that he's been worrying about and that he thinks he's been dissociating lately and he came up with the term - not me - he was trying to describe how he's been feeling and he googled how he's felt and he found that word. (I don't put words to anything to him, because it's not my place to diagnose!) We talked about that some. He's going to talk to his t about it this week and I'm glad. She's helped him a lot with stuff already so I'm sure she can help with this. But I still worry - I might call t today and see if I can come talk to her after work today about it. I might as well just give in and go weekly again. I can't seem to not anyway lately. Meh. I shouldn't need her so much. I should be able to handle this stuff with son on my own. Well I gotta get to work. Will be around later on break. Hugs to those who want 'em.

I watched it over a few days. I found it very well done, and it deeply affected me. I couldn't watch it all in one binge-watch because it was just too much for me emotionally, too difficult emotionally, all at once. It will stick with me for a very long time.

Maybe save it for another time Munie? Best not to risk it if you're feeling fragile.

Hello couch. It's Wednesday - therapy day! Woo. I feel nervous as usual...

And I have a cold. Hachoo!

My student's mother, while my student is in the bathroom: "Heads up, I hear strep throat is going around again..."

Student, returning from the bathroom, has a special announcement: "Mommmmmmmmm, my throat is sore!" Then she sneezed on her violin and handed it to me to tune up.

I made a mental list of all the preventative remedies I was going to take when I got home but instead I had a big glass of sherry.

I watched 13 Reasons Why but I couldn't watch it all in one go, I had to stop once in a while because it was a lot to take in. It wasn't so much the suicide part as I'm not suicidal but the bullying aspect of the show. I have to say it was really good: well-written, well-acted.

My entire neighborhood in under siege from the city - they have torn up the roads, the tree and plant division is out sawing down trees, and the utilities are doing something mysterious under the roads the city is tearing up to repave. It sounds like a battle field.
