Couch 140: Knocking pans

Morning couchies! So I just started my online class by taking the pretest. I missed 3 out of 12. I have 20 minutes to start reading the first lesson before I head to work! Have a good morning/evening and hugs to those who want. Catch y'all at lunchtime!

Hi couchies. I dreamt about you guys last night. We were all in school together and were coloring and playing chess. It was a nice change from my usual nightmares.

Last night i dreamed of couchies too - specifically LT and JD we were on a road trip and LT was driving, i was pretending to sleep in the back seat and we were driving through a national forest going to pick up una. Wheee!

Fun! And I do prefer to be the driver--helps with my anxiety! Hope I wasn't prattling on about transference too much (or perhaps that's why you were pretending to sleep, Art!)

Thanks SD. I am not very hopeful, as this has already gone on over a month I am absolutely terrified of hospitals, and this procedure sounds awful.

I had dreams last night where i was with groups of friends also. In one dream, we were at a mall, and i noticed i was walking walking walking, thinking i must have lost some weight, because i was doing so much walking so comfortably.

I had a dream that I could do a headstand.

I am glad you are still here. I personally think that periodic flouncing is part of the growth process. 😎

I'm ready to get home and start digging into my first lesson/assignment in my online class! I'll probably stay up way too late tonight working on it! Hope there's others in the class with me otherwise the discussion board will be all boring.

Today is not as bad as i thought, a friend called me first thing and whisked me off to a cafe for pastries-or-else. That took up a lot of time though i feel a little ill because it really was pastries, or else. She's insistant that way. Now the rest of the day is easy, just teaching and rehearsals with no time to mope.

I used to think giving myself no time to mope was a viable therapy alternative but after a decade or so..... it isn't!

You will - to teach even an online course with just one student would mean the college can't break even, in fact would have a loss after paying the instructor.

Warning, though: discussion boards in online courses can be very disappointing. Hopefully that won't be the case in a writing course.
