I had a dream about Madame T. I emailed her and met her with W, but I did not have a session.

I don't think ultrasound is that bad. They don't cut you or put you to sleep.

well its not an ultrasound, its sonic waves being pumped into my body...and no, they don't put me to sleep, but i'd RATHER be asleep! I don't want to be aware and hear this godawful thing trying to break up my stone.

But i have a major fear of hospitals, and besides getting my tonsils out at 4, and stitches in my hand at 12 (and i did not deal well with that at ALL), i've never been in a hospital for any sort of illness or procedure.

Velcro When used to nurse 20 years ago they used to put you in a warm bath put headphones and music on and patients said it felt like someone lightly slapping you on the side. I am sure they have advanced since then

I'm debating if I want to have a cup of coffee. It's almost 7:30 pm but I want energy to at least clean some of my house so I won't have it all to do tomorrow. I'm very tired though. So drinking the coffee might be counter-productive. Sometimes If I'm really tired and drink coffee, it just ends up giving me heartburn and making me more sleepy.

And this morning I forgot my dentist appointment. Coincidence? I think not.

Sometimes, drinking water perks me up when I'm sluggish.

It's now around 8:15. I'm not going to have the coffee. I'm just going to go to bed shortly and wake up super early so I can have all my cleaning done before noon.

For those of you who start threads, do you ever feel self conscious about it? I was considering starting something, but chickened out. I don't want to be thought of as lame, even if I am.

Yes, I wanted to post a thread a few days ago but chickened out.

Yeah, no bath here! (or headphones) I would be scared no matter what, but my co-worker said it was the worst pain she's ever felt, and they called a crash cart because she went into shock or something when they did it. When I told my urologist this story, he said it sounded like she didn't have enough pain medicine, and that is what frightens me the most! How do they know? I am a small person, but feel like I have a pretty high medication tolerance. The fact that they don't put you to sleep makes me all panic-y, which is why I put this off another 3 weeks to see if I can pass this stupid stone on my own.

I am not hopeful, though.

I refuse to admit there are yoga poses I cannot do. Practice, practice, practice a few every night.

I've started multiple threads. I haven't worried about being lame...BUT the one caution is that people who don't normally comment or who are more new are likely to comment. I've had some commenters be pretty harsh to me... It's safer here on the couch/in regular threads like "Dear T" or "In Session Today." Though if you want to get lots of thoughts/opinions, go for it!

When dental the secretary phoned to give me a new appointment, I asked if she was going to charge for the missed one. She said no. I said, "I think you should". She said the practice never charges for missed appointments by regulars.

And this triggered me again about Madame T, who famously charged for appointments cancelled a week in advance and refused to tell me what her cancellation policy was.

You cancelled a week in advance and she still charged you? That's just... how did she explain that, if I might ask? It sounds cruel to me
