Is it bad that this makes me miss smoking? Was a "social smoker" for about 7 years. Putting social in quotes because it shifted from "smoking when out with friends" to "when I was alone in my apartment feeling sad or stressed." Been probably 8 years since I've had a cigarette...

I liked her - it's hard to judge satisfied by an intake session.

She barely makes my age rule, though - she's only a year older than me. And she's under supervision still (not yet a full LMFT), so I guess this is her second career.

Well, vive la difference.

I'm afraid I'll go down that route... right now I have three times when I'm allowed:
1. At bad recording sessions (as many as wanted)
2. At rehearsal for this one orchestra that I particularly hate (only one at break)
3. If I'm having a panic attack but have to drive somewhere and therefor can't take a lorazepam

I've been on the same pack since March so I'm doing ok, I guess

My last group of kids had their violin recitals today.... they're so freaking cute and they all nailed their rep. But really, they could forget 70% of what I told them onstage and I would still be as proud as could be.

Wow that's good. If just had one I would back to a pack a day in a couple of days. How many in a pack? We get pack X of 15, 25 and 30. I think we 50s in the cheap vomity brands

Those onion rings look good!
I'm getting ready to watch A Bronx Tale. I love this movie so much I never get tired of it. I could watch it every day. Chazz Palminteri does a live 1 man show of this and I heard it's a big hit, but it's not coming back to this area until fall.

Me, a couple times (I used to wait for prescriptions at an Arby's near my pharmacy). But I generally adore mozzarella sticks anyway.

Oh my, that is absolutely ADORABLE. Way better than my cats who BOTH jumped up on a wet painting of mine (urgghh), and then proceeded to run around the apartment covered in beige carpet, with colorful paws. (double urrgghh)

Ahhhhh (me, trying to figure out human communication)
- mostly, I look at the floor. Sometimes I look at her. Depends on what was written. I do lots of letters when I don't feel safe. (today, I watched her most the time, she read it a couple of times).

- less awkward than reading them to her.

- react to being handed the piece of paper? Now she asks how much or what specifically to read. She has always taken it well.

- sometimes I say stuff and other times I don't. Just depends on what the letter is about.

I also have my journal that I give her, that I basically am writing to her throughout it. Lots of times we talk about what I've written in the journal, sometimes, I read directly from the journal and other times I summarize or just refer to the writings.

Hngggggfggggggffffffggg I just finished the final spreadsheet for this damned festival. No more spreadsheets til January!

Now... i just have to survive the actual festival. I have one day to uh, learn all the pieces I'm playing, great

This feels like how reading period and finals used to be like for me. Except instead of six days it's been two months

In my last session, T asked what she could do to help me hurt less inbetween sessions. At that time, I couldn't think of anything but now I half want a small inexpensive gift from her which I could put on my desk, sigh...

Not that I think it's possible, I know Ts aren't supposed to give gifts. Though I've a transitional object (a note) from her.

One thing I'd love too is a card from her where she lists why she likes working with me (if she likes working with me, that is), what good qualities she thinks I have (if I've any, because she knows me well)...
