I like Two out of Three Ain't Bad.

I like journey - just don't know the names of the individuals. I also probably could not specifically say what songs they sang.

It is hard to not be able to figure out how to help him. I turn the tv up and run the dishwasher repeatedly to drown out some of it.
He won't even eat cheese or bananas- and those usually make him very happy.

Luckily the other two are not particularly concerned about the noise. The old guy is not all that worked up about noises and at this point is nearly deaf and the pup is proving oblivious to it. He helps by eating middle guy's cheese for him.

when i was a kid our dog was very high strung and couldn't handle fireworks or thunderstorms... we had to get her doggie tranquilizers from the vet and they helped her.

Yeah, it comes very close to OCD sometimes. I also have the fear of medication. It's a fairly new thing for me - when I was younger I was happy to try anything and completely reckless in terms of drugs and alcohol and other risky things. I don't know what happened to change that. Still working it out I guess. It's good to hear that you understand, anyway. Thank you for sharing.

Let's talk about my t posting a picture on fb the other day ( I saw it because his wife is tagged in it, and I am friends with her).

So, it's was a picture at his son's graduation- it is of both of his kids. And who is in the background clear as day talking to a friend?? Me! Clearly this is some kind or Freudian slip of pictures.. like there some unconscious reason why he choose to pick that picture out of all the pictures he took that nigh and that was the only picture he posted..

Really- this is all I jest, but imagine my surprise as I am scrolling through fb and see my self.

I'm going to get a good night's sleep tonight, I have to get my azz back to work before they pack my belongings and disable my door code. I have not enjoyed my time off, but at least I have the leave saved up. I think DD1 is still pretty numb about what happened and I hope she doesn't get too deeply depressed about it. Thanks for all the good thoughts couchies.

In his defense, he didn't say I should watch that video, just listen to the song. It was just free on YouTube. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have told me to watch the video, as it was a bit... explicit at times. Perhaps I should have put a TW... Then again, I could see someone having the same reaction to a T telling them to just listen to the song, since it is about losing one's virginity (well, the girl at least).

Pretty sure MC meant it as more of a, "You don't know that piece of pop culture history? You should listen to it!" Probably not really thinking the whole thing through...

So yeah, I get what you're saying...Also would have been different if this had been, like, our third session with MC, not our...yeah, I have no idea how many.
Thanks for this!

Apparently, "You can feel!" is the response for one who has a severe inner ear and moderate middle ear infection. Yes, I can feel it. No, it's not good news. Yes, it hurts and I'm aware I have a ridiculous high pain tolerance, you would too. Can I just get an that sucks and sorry it's painful? I know that sounds whiny and stupid but I never had any of that such thing, I don't know how to give it to myself and I kinda want to be babied (which is ridiculous) and it would annoy me amd I'd hate every minute of it but for some reason I want something other than, "you can feel!"

Ugh, sorry you're dealing with this. I hope your ears feel better soon. If the antibiotics aren't working, could it maybe be viral or fungal or something?
Thanks for this!

The inner ear is infection so I have amoxicillin for that (one of my littles asked) lol so that made her happy.

The middle ear is fungal/bacterial so I have acetic acid drops 4x a day for those.

Thank you.

I hope you're feeling better soon!! I had something like that in both ears when my son was a baby and there was a week or so that I could not hear anything. It was painful and scary and I was so scared at the time that I would never be able to hear my son say "I love you". Of course, the antibiotics and drops worked and I got over the infections and could hear again. That was way back in 1998.
Thanks for this!

I never found meatloaf attractive - but aside from him just being creepy - I like the video.
I also like You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth. ("I bet you say that to all the boys")
It was a bit of a contrast to my usual bassoon concertos

EM - I get earaches - they are awful - I hope you are out of pain soon.

Energetic hangover-- totally spent and everything aches. M said, "you look depleted," as if he were imparting me with completely game-changing, earth-shattering Therapy Wisdom. I was bent double cracking up about how ludicrous it was that he even bothered to say that, while he gazed on, perplexed by my reaction.

He gave me a few days' worth of Chinese medicine for stamina, has a funny name... "free and easy wayfarer" or something like that.

i like that song too. i never found meatloaf attractive either - steve perry, on the other hand, i was sooooooo in love with back in the late 1970's. I would listen to the song "
" from Journey Infinity over and over and over again to fall asleep at night. I played that album til the grooves got grooves.

I had to keep at it for about 10 days to catch the feral male cat I needed to get neutered. I finally used sardines and that worked.

I got carried away by all the Journey/Steve Perry videos I've been watching and called up my friend Leslie and told her I changed my mind about going to the Journey concert here next month. When she first told me she was going and invited me I was like no, I can't see a Journey w/out my Stevie! But I'm ushering in a new era of me, with ending my therapy, so I decided to be open about their current lead singer, bought my lawn ticket and called her up and said let's do this!! She was very surprised and happy that I changed my mind! It should be a lot of fun!!
