True story: years ago when texting was new, this happened to me with an acquaintance who was sending me texts for her political action group two states away. I pretended not to know the number and asked her to stop texting, and then pretended the phone wasn't mine. Because I was so afraid of confrontation!

I do not recommend this method of handling unwanted texts.

I had the pool to myself at 7:30 this morning, it was so lovely once I told my brain to shut the f up and let me just swim. It was confused cuz usually I think while I swim. I have to swim laps of mostly crawl stroke for that to work cuz it wears me out more than breaststroke. I swam for an hour. Now that we're back from breakfast I feel like taking a nap....

I was painting the porch floor barefoot, stepped on an already painted part and slid into a post, jamming my toe. And of course, this comes long after toe week on the couch has passed.

Freak accident: I was eating hot salsa, then walked across the room while drinking water-- tripped, water from the cup sloshed into my mouth then out again then hit the back of the cup and shot all over my face (and the floor) and now I am soaked and have SALSA EYE
