I feel like he doesn't care.

I just needed to know he was there for me but now I feel like he just hates me for sending him a stupid f***ing email.

I feel so alone.

'Wobbled'. FFS.
I think sometimes Ts use email and/or texting just to "validate your experience" (meh) when one really needs more than that. (T2 just did the same thing to me a few minutes ago via text so I feel your pain.)

I think I just need to be very sad for a while

I never bothered to like anyone before. Because it was always too sad when they had to go away. I was very proud of myself for letting M in, and it took a long time. But then this is the feeling.

Some weirda** fish on special at the sushi place today

I hope you do allow yourself to feel sad. And you should still be proud of letting M in.

What did you end up getting? The toro nigiri looked good.

If any of you are fans of the band the War on Drugs, you need to go download the song "Strangest Thing" that they released from their upcoming album today. It's amazing.

"I'm just living in the space between the beauty and the pain."

The toro there is mind-blowing, especially the chuu-toro
The sushi chef there trained with the son of Jiro from Jiro Dreams of Sushi

I got my favorite dish, it's just a plain cucumber roll but with crab salad, salmon roe, and uni piled on top. It's called kobore-sushi, kobore meaning "falling over," because there's so much stuff on top that it all falls over...

Then grilled scallops in sesame broth. They serve the whole scallop there with the organs and everything, not just the big white muscle.

The sushi chef also made me something special on the house... a hollowed out lemon rind stuffed with three big pieces of octopus sashimi, shiso leaf, and shredded daikon radish inside, with this amazing vinaigrette poured over top made from sweetened soy sauce, vinegar, and mustard seeds, wow

And beer.

I like sushi

I love this restaurant

OMG, that sounds so good. I was excited about dinner tonight (H's take on penne alla vodka), but now I'm thinking about octopus.

I'm going to choose to think about octopus versus the major panic attack that my brain wants me to have right now.

It's too late for tonight (I ate pudding for dinner) but I think you've spurred me to get sushi tomorrow, anais!

I once had a boyfriend who ordered something unfamiliar to me at an Italian restaurant. It came out and it was spaghetti with baby octopus on top, not breaded or anything. That was a shock! (I've been a vegetarian since I was a kid).

I'm really weird when it comes to meat. I will not eat anything on the bone, but I wouldn't hesitate to eat offal or any kind of seafood.

I will eat ANYTHING

Except for papaya and raw onions and raw garlic because I'm allergic, and dark raisins because of a childhood trauma thing, and mushrooms because... **** mushrooms, mushrooms are disgusting

Last time I went to that sushi place they pulled out this secret off-menu thing to try, fermented raw squid intestines. They were amazing. I love this place because after they get to know you and chat you up a few times, it's like a little club or family, and they do extra things for you just because.

I've been a vegetarian for about 20 years. Just had some grilled eggplant over cheesy polenta (homemade).

Is it possible she was trying to cheer you up? She might not have been gloating.

I'd like to tell myself I could be a vegetarian, but I'm allergic to soy, and a person can eat but so many beans.

Email is a notoriously poor medium for communicating emotions. That's why Ts discourage it.

Weebles wobble but they don't fall down. I believe that the whole point of therapy is to accept our wobbles while avoiding total collapse.

Therapy makes Weebles of us all!

Hmm. Food for thought, therapy making me a Weeble. But I do see it, sometimes. Things that used to would throw me into a tither I handle like a pro. Not everything yet though. I still get tithered by stuff. 🤣

No she is a snobby bragger who thinks she is better than everyone. This is why we are only FB friends now. I got tired of it when we would hang out.

I guess the one good thing is that it made me appreciate current T a trifle more (and so, I suppose be angry at her less).

I don't want to attend this professional development tomorrow. I don't want to go to the workshop next week. I just want to work in my classroom while watching Netflix.
