What issues are you having with it? Just the stuff you have to talk about? Or the therapist him/herself? Something else?

I am struggling with a lot of shame. I feel like I **** up eveything I do. And then I have to repeatedly come back to him to share my ****ups.

To add to that I acted out so many times with him that I suspect that my relationship with him is slowly deteriorating.

I used to feel worse after therapy sessions than I felt going into them.

I wonder if maybe it doesn't just help some people and not others. I never really felt like I accomplished anything with it. Personally, I'd rather they just give me pills and send me out into the world, lol, but they won't.
Thanks for this!

i've felt this way before.... but i think the times you wanna run is when you need to fight it most. I'm glad i didn't things have been great

i know it sucks feeling crappy sometimes, i have no other support, even in my family, so once i leave there, I'm flooded with emotions and it sucks waiting a whole week again but he is also my weekly sanity.

i hope you decide to maybe keep trying a bit longer.

Nothing ever worth doing is easy.

I went through quite a few therapists before I found the right one. Some people just don't gel.

If you feel worse, then stop going. You could try to find a new one.

Why not take a break or even take a break and try out new therapists? Sometimes I think clients spend way too much time trying to twist themselves into something when it is the wrong therapist or type of therapy.

I can think of plenty of things worth doing that are easy. It does not have to be awful or horrible or painful to be worthwhile.
