Daisydid, I am fascinated by your classroom. Are those a lot of narrow side tables on the walls? it is so interesting to see what other districts use for furniture!

They are! Our classrooms have traditional desks typically, but my new room used to be a computer lab. So given the choice to get desks or to keep the lab's tables, we opted for tables.

eta: having said that, don't ask why we also have desks. it's a long story

I have never been able to take the poop emoji seriously. It looks too much like the top of a chocolate soft-serve ice cream cone.

Funny you should say that because my 8 year old made a PowerPoint presentation for us which featured poop emojis on ice cream cones

I love emojis. I used the poop emoji and the heart eyes last year in one of my sets of lecture notes. It was how I helped my kids remember the Axis powers and Allied powers in WWII
