The only thing I know about hobby lobby is the recent supreme court case. I have never been inside of one and will not ever go to one - but I don't have any real reason to use one anyway.

They just have so much stuff. Home decor, art, crafts, scrapbooking, party essentials, and on and on and on. I just like shopping there.

Last night was ice cream for dinner. Some lovely lavender/ blueberry puree/ black tea flavor that was on sale.

That does sound lovely -- I've never seen black tea as part of an ice cream mix.

Green tea, yes but not black (and, I'm rather terribly fond of black tea).

I'm one of those people who boycotts Hobby Lobby because of the Supreme Court case a couple of years ago. I did always like their home goods, though. Shame.

T time.

It's called Lavender's Blueberry and the brand is Tea-rrific. I got it at Whole Foods which is the only place I've encountered that carries it so far.

I haven't tried their green tea because it has ginger in it, why would you ruin perfectly beautiful matcha with ginger???

I'm jumping onto the couch to share my T's office. I had to wait until today when the light was better to take pictures. I'm the one on the couch. You can't really see it, but my T is wearing a classy scarf, which is something she does often and with great panache.

Oh man, I totally get this. It has happened to me too, though there was not even any body work involved. The last time, the yoga teacher told me I had an odd energy. My therapist tried to get me to see that it was not a negative comment and that I should go back, but I don't see anything about that kind of comment that is welcoming or that does not scream that something is freakishly wrong with me.

Thanks, Art. Would have probably preferred to be at IHOP if I'm being honest.

I'll post about the session later, but it hurt. I know why he said what he said, but it hurt me so badly.

I think if anyone ever told me I had a weird energy, I'd be tempted to make them feel my weird energy right in their teeth at 30mph.

I have worked on people whose energy feels somehow out of tune, unbalanced, or baggage-y. It can be rough going but you support them and are there for them. Help them to become grounded. How I learned to do this for people within the confines of a one-month course while these professionals struggle so much with it is beyond me at the moment. Not that I am discounting bodywork and the training that goes into it-- that I respect very much. I have had plenty of bodywork that has been patient, open, and supportive, which is why last night was so shocking to me.

I just went into another Michael's (on the way to school) because I forgot something the first time. The girl at the register recognized me. That's how bad my Michael's addiction is.

It is a very religious company

I don't agree with hobby lobbys values. But they pay very well

I'm actually really liking my job. Everyone is nice to me. The customers are nice because the attitude is different. It's more leisurely instead of people shopping for necessities and screaming at their kids
