If you talk about your trigger with your T, you have a good chance of defusing it.

That's a big part of what therapy is all about.

Honestly, Mittens, this is getting ridiculous. This is the third time this week.

Ellah, my heart goes out to you.

Thanks, CE. I guess I'm more embarrassed that it triggered me than I am about the actual trigger.

i understand being embarrassed that something triggered you, this whole entire mess i'm in with my t right now is because of something she said that triggered me that was really not that big of a thing in the first place. but try to tell our psyches that.

Spouse loves Dew. It doesn't have enough bubbles for me.

Agreed, Art - my psyche (and my friends) don't get it. It's hard. I was doing so good too and it just sucks. She texted me. Good hell. I don't understand this woman.

Feeling a little clearer after writing some but goodness. So I'm doing some at home work until my 'bed time' in an hour. Doesn't help that the choppers are playing her team right now, so for the next 3 innings it's another reminder of something that will never be.

Oh, and my freaking ear hurts again. Can someone remind me why feeling things is a good thing? All I've experienced so far is pain.

My whole life I have not known what color my eyes are. They are too blueish to be green, but they aren't actually blue. I just discovered that grey eyes are a thing! Who knew?

I have noticed a difference between their canned and bottled versions. It seems the bottles have more bubbles.

Of course, right at the end of her last session she texts me back. She didn't ask, but I answered what she didn't ask anyway. I shouldn't have done that.

Yeah. He didn't see anything, but said that it would be too early for a real infestation to be seen (shudder). He said to call back in 2 weeks and they have a dog (jack russell) come in and can sniff them out, and then they'll do a thermal treatment of the apartment--heat it up to 135 to kill them all. It takes all day, and i can't even imagine how long it will take to cool back down.

But I SWEAR I killed 2 today. And I went to my trunk where I threw my luggage in a plastic bag, and oh god...the bugs. horror.

I don't think I can wait two weeks, so my upstairs tenant is calling again tomorrow.

awful awful awful.

MC showed up this evening as a suggested friend on Facebook, like just popped up there on the side of my screen. T and some other therapists at that office have shown up on there before, but not him. He has a common name, but it's with his photo, so I know it's him. It's taking a tremendous amount of willpower not to click on his profile, even though I'm sure it's locked down. Is it wrong to not click on the little x to reject it? Just to leave him hanging out in my suggested friends? As long as I don't actually click on his profile?

(((Velcro))) If you see anymore around your house, perhaps keep them in a plastic bag to show the exterminator?

I am really sorry you are going through this.
