So I have not seen T since last Wednesday when I left after 30 minutes, we have emailed each other and straightened out what went wrong, but I still hadn't made an appt for this week. Yesterday he emailed me to tell me that he realized Friday is the 2nd anniversary date of my mom's death, and would I like to see him that day.

At first I was shocked he remembered at all, then I was feeling kind of warm and fuzzy that he did remember. Emotions are mixed, bad time of year, and I know I need to be in his office that day, last year on her first anniversary he made sure I touched base and had an appt that day, so I did accept his offer and I see him at eleven on Friday.

I guess I thought after 2 years it would get easier, but it really isn't, the images of her are very vivid yet, and I would just like for them to fade and be replaced by normal pictures of mom.

That's great your T remembered; it sounds like he's really trying to help.

Two years is not very long; I got "the" phone call about my Dad in 1992 and still sometimes "jump" when the phone rings at an odd hour.

I am glad I said yes to seeing him on Friday also, the closer Friday gets the more anxious I am becoming, between her anniversary date and everything else going on, feel like a yoyo on a string. He did call today to just check in, wanted to see how I was doing, I told him I feel almost numb right now, he said I am protecting myself, that is what the numbness does. So part of me still works I guess!!!!

Wow that is great that he remembered and reached out to you. Very nice T!

I remember quitting last year around this time, pressure from my husband to quit and the attachment thing scared me...ah the good ole days...I sent an email thanking him saying I can take it from here...ha!

He didn't contact me though but I did contact him almost a month later and was much worse off obviously...if I only knew the PC girls back then T called me to set up an appt
