Sorry for being late back to this thread! Thank you so much for the support.

I'm coping ok, I really, really miss him though. I've been looking all my emails from him (and there are soo many) and re-reading them, which is really helping. I have to just remember that the last 4 years he's been supporting me, helping me and basically 'in my corner' - I just have to keep hoping that he's going to get better, and eventually I'll be able to go and see him and have a wonderful catch up talk with him.

It's really really difficult, but I'm coping. If anything I'm realising how much I've improved because of his help, because if this had happened 2 years ago, I would be in pieces.
