Mine has a separate work email account (I'm inferring the existence of a personal account based on the professional branding of the account I use to correspond with her). But she is pretty tech-savvy and seems like the kind of person who would be able to monitor multiple email accounts. If your T is already overwhelmed by her email, I'm not sure adding another account would solve the problem.
Thanks for this!

Then all her personal emails and those unrelated to therapy would be in one account, and work emails in another. No?

I hope you feel better. I am currently waiting on an email (not from T) that I also think got lost in the shuffle over the holiday w/e. It's frustrating but you won't know the scoop till you see T in person, which it sounds like is tomorrow. Hopefully it's just a simple matter of the email getting inadvertently buried under other emails, and maybe will inspire her to a better email sorting system
Thanks for this!

My therapist is pretty bad with email- I use it frequently because it works for me to write to him, but if I need a reply I text or phone him. He is trying to use one account for his clients, but I don't know how this is working out for him- I don't think he sees everything I send him (which is fine for the way I use it). I think it's still possible to miss things coming in even on a dedicated account.

Could you use text to just alert her that you have sent her an important email? It helps me to know that I can follow up another way if I am worried he'll miss something. And I know my therapist prefers that I reach out again to alert him to something rather than ruminate over why I haven't heard back.
Thanks for this!

Something just crossed my mind, having just spent far too much time in the hospital ER with my husband. Were you actually sending the email while you were at the hospital? Sending texts and emails can extremely spotty and unreliable in a hospital. In fact, I found several instances where I had sent a text or email and they simply had not sent because of hospital internet interference issues. They looked like they sent originally, but come to find out they hadn't at all. I literally had to wander around until I found decent connectivity. Some were entirely lost and I had to start over. Others simply sat until decent connectivity was reached. Just a thought if you were actually trying to contact while at the hospital.
Thanks for this!

Yes, I sent the email from the hospital. It seemed like I was connected, and that my email went through, but you could be correct. I will ask T tomorrow when I see her. Thank you!

I can't remember but for some reason I thought you said you had been dehydrated.
Have you tried anything like this:

"Trioral Oral Rehydration Salts
Good for dehydration cramps
The World Health Organization (WHO) has a recommended recipe for oral rehydration salts. This concoction has saved many millions from dying of cholera – you dissolve a particular mix of salts and sugar in water, and it keeps you from dehydrating to death long enough for your immune system to kick the bacteria. I use the salts for less dramatic issues – I often get dehydration cramps in the wee hours after extended travel, while hiking in the Florida Summer sun – those sorts of things. This fixes me right up. I’ve used these for years."

I am a fan of potassium supplements. Or orange juice. Bananas work also

My aunt used to get leg cramps so bad she would be weeping. The salts helped her - bananas and orange juice did nothing - except provide her with projectiles to hurtle at us.

So with my popsicles, a person could hurl them at someone in a locked room and leave a rehydrated murder victim
