Just logged onto my Positive Psychology class that starts today! It's gonna be a bit harder in some ways than Intro to Psych was. A lot less reading required, but more thinking and more writing. The instructor even posted rubrics for our discussion posts! We already have a quiz that we have to take by 2/1 (very short, just to show we read the syllabus). I'm off to get more edumacated now....
Thanks for this!

For one of my freelance jobs, I edit online college courses, and they often include rubrics for discussions--sometimes quite detailed! I'm guessing you probably have a very organized course developer and/or instructor. Hope you enjoy the course!
Thanks for this!

I think that would be an interesting job! Do you do particular subjects, or any subject?
Thanks for this!

The orange cleavage lady gave you fashion advice?

"You should wear electric blue more often. It's really your color."

No one has ever suggested this before. I usually get red is your color.

Electric blue sort of sounds like her. She is encouraging you to branch out your color palate?

Just reading the In Session thread, i rarely read it as i dont undrrstand it. How do you people talk to your therapists like that. There are plenty of things causing my pain but when i try to talk about it i physically cant talk, my throat shuts down, or i stop talking about once its nearly out of my comfort zone. You are brave people.

This.
I read and think: "Wow... just wow. How it's even possible? They are really brave"

I can't even THINK about some topics I should discuss with T. I can't imagine me saying all these words.

Now that h is home and all the scary is (hopefully) behind us, I remember that I had a dream about t and woke up to write it down right before h woke up with the high fever/tremors and we went to hospital. I can't find it now. And I've forgotten completely what it was about except for it was about t.

ETA That's pretty important, I think, that I forgot the dream. I should see it as a good thing. I found out this past week just how much I love my h and value my marriage and our partnership and THAT is more important that a lot of other things.

I'm sure it is. I only mentioned it because they didn't tell him to, and actually it kind of surprised me that they didn't! Anyway it's been normal every time so that's a good sign. I talked to him on my lunch break today and he was already bored and ready to go back to work!! But the dr told him give it a week when he got discharged. His follow up appt is on Feb 6.

I have a therapy appointment tomorrow.
It's been three weeks, t's schedule has been full. I don't want to go. I know I need to go but I am stuck. I could just go and say all of the things I'm doing to take care of myself and make it sound like sunshine and roses and get some pats on the back. The thread about wanting to be a "good" therapy client really resonated with me.

I even found myself thinking yesterday, "Things aren't SO bad the way they are. Maybe I should just stay where I am."

Bleah.
Just a ray of sunshine over here.

I am enjoying the fun and jokes on the couch. It's a bright spot.

New couch!

Couch 162

Also, does someone on Wikipedia hate this number? All the others have long listings, this one...not so much.
