my therapist and i have spent many many whole days together.
just a few things we have done: go out for breakfast/lunch/ dinner
go to the park, go for walks, go to my house, play with my cats, climbed a mountain once,
talk all day, go to my job, go to the beach, go to the zoo, and more things i cant remember.
Mostly we just sit and talk all day. we are very good at talking for many hours at a time.
Thanks for this!

I would like to just be able to chat with her all day about politics, life experiences, world views, etc. She and I are very similar, I feel. I can tell she gets me. I’d like to meet her family too/just observe what she’s like outside of therapy.
Thanks for this!

I would like to go to the zoo in Memphis and feel free to be myself outside of his office.

I’d like to walk around outside and enjoy the freedom of his company.

I don’t think I could handle that just yet though.

It is a nice thought/dream.

I wouldn't want to spend a day with my T. By the end of the hour I am practically running out the door. I couldn't tolerate more.
Thanks for this!

He used to take me on trails in the woods and teach me about plants. I would like to do that again .

I'd like to attend one of the workshops he puts on for therapists. But I don't think I ever could. It would be too weird.

A whole dat? Not interested.

One or a few non-therapy hours though.. for T, just chatting - maybe over lunch or something. Pdoc, interview him about a few things such as his experiences with the university he went to (I'm going to uni in 2019, I want to get a degree that you can only get at 2 uni's in my country - he attended one of them) and a few other things I'd like to talk about, things I'd like to know his view on/experiences with. E.g. I'm afraid of doctors and have had bad experiences in hospitals, and as he has a med degree, maybe he has some insight in how things work that might help. (I know, med degree equals doctor. It helps me to separate them in my mind though, cuts down on the panic attacks in session)
Thanks for this!
