I go through times where I become completely disorganized. I have anxiety issues when it comes to me going to the appointments I have for the regular Doctor, for the dentist, and for my Psychiatrist. I make the appts. and have every intention of going to them, some are twice a year or every three months and such. When the appt. time arrives, I end up worrying about having to miss work, I just get anxious about the appt. and I end up not going and I feel too anxious to even call and tell them. I hate that I do this.

I've had this issue with my Psychiatrist for ages and I keep finding myself in the same predicament, needing meds. but not having them, and being massively stressed in trying to remedy the situation. I am generally a responsible person, but this just keeps happening.

Does anybody relate or have any suggestions?

I totally relate. My gp has been up my butt for the past few years about getting said butt to a gyno, and going for other tests. Meds are always a frickin hassle.

All i can suggest is, more t! Or get really old and desperate. Or have the annoying people in your life die. Im not really sure what it is thats made the difference for me.

Informal poll: on a scale from not weird at all to the weirdest thing ever, how weird is blowing bubbles in therapy? It was weird for me but I also love blowing bubbles.

Well, if Info were blowing the bubbles it would be not weird at all.

I’ve decided to live my life by the Info standard.

You’re stocked up on the little blue pills in the event of an apocalypse, I presume?

Blowing bubbles suddenly made me think of bashing up Blondie — not quite sure why. She’s been rather peaceable lately. Perhaps blowing bubbles in my therapy is not advised.
Thanks for this!

Always be prepared, is Info’s motto.

I would attack while things are peaceable and you have the element of surprise.

True, but what works for wood nymphs may not work for us mere mortals.

This is the hardest I've laughed in days. Also New T is Bubbles now.

A song for your T from a random '90s song I remember. (Would have included actual video but...it's kinda creepy.)

hey couchies! what a day today. after all the stress of the past couple-3 weeks today was so needed. i had my yearly review, and i got all 4's and 5's (3 is "meets expectations" so I basically blew it outta the water, my overall score was 5. I got a 3.70% raise, where the average this year was 3%. Remember when I had that executive sitting with me awhile back, watching what we do on my team? He told me how impressed she was with me, how knowledgeable I am, and that she was so impressed that I called members to clarify things in their messages, and she even told him that she thought I was doing a better job of servicing our members than that team I tried to get on over the summer who wouldn't take me because I didn't interview well!! HA! I felt sooooo good after hearing all of that.

Then this afternoon I was working an email where the member spelled the word "been" like "bin" and I don't know why but I started giggling, and I just went into this hysterical giggling fit so bad that I had to go into the break room and get some water before I could settle down enough to answer the email, I think that giggling fit released ALL the stress I've been holding onto.

Then I talked to my mom for my entire drive home, and it was a great conversation.

Life is so amazing sometimes.

Not weird at all in my book. I can see me and t doing that. I went to a drumming circle one Easter and we blew bubbles, I loved it!

I went to look for the wood nymph photo online again, and stumbled across an interview Info gave recently in which she said her ideal woman is Mae West (because, “I used to be Snow White, but I drifted”).

That actually makes perfect sense.

For me it would be so weird that I would have left never to return.
I probably would have walked out at the suggestion of doing so and realization that there was a bottle of bubble stuff right there. I doubt I would have gotten as far as actually blowing one.

I don't think it is wrong or weird if it is something one finds useful.

If it is something that might help to ground you, I don't think it matters whether it's weird or not - it's helpful, that's the important thing.
