Sadly, it's really cold out out in Jersey right now as it is in NY. You should definitely do a nature walk in the summer. I am still surprised at how something so trivial as walking in nature clams me down.

Nothing trivial about walking in nature. We are all still cavemen at our core

Very true. No matter how "civilized" we become as a species, we always revert back to our primitive nature. That's where the comfort is.

It is true that it’s where the comfort is. Yesterday would have been a nice day for a nature walk if we didn’t get so much rain. I think it was slightly over 60 degrees yesterday but it rained all day long.

One of my favorite things I did w my shamanic group was forest bathing - we walked together through the trees in sabino canyon in silence, just breathing in the beauty and letting it soothe our souls... I hope we do that again soon!

Just signed on to my class and I needn't have been concerned about the length of my paper - I got an A, full points. And I really like how the prof gives individual feedback. She said that my paper was very well-written, and a few other comments. I guess I'm not too rusty anymore at this paper-writing thing....

I despise the announcers at the Westminster dog show.

I just looked at my therapist's Psychology Today profile and he updated it at the end of January to say he's no longer accepting my insurance. Why wouldn't he say something to me about that? I'm freaking out a little bit. If I mention it to him, I'll have to admit I was looking at his profile.

They look awesome, don’t they? Especially luge.

Anyone else remember the Jamaican bobsled team?

Run the track to the right, it’s bobsled time!

Or something like that.

Time to watch my breed lose in the herding group again. And every time I hear them refer to it as a "sport" I guffaw.
"Give back to the sport"
It is insane. I watch it mostly to yell at them that they are idiots. And I like looking at the dogs.

NP, it may be that your therapist is planning to drop that insurance company, but hasn't yet and doesn't want to take on any more who use it. I would wait to bring it up to him unless it's eating you up.
Thanks for this!

I agree with rr, he probably doesn’t want to take on new clients on that insurance. It may be that he’ll continue to accept the insurance from existing clients.

When my therapist’s practice dropped my insurance, they verbally notified clients a couple months ahead of time, then sent a letter one month before to give people time to plan.

Too late. The last 24 hours have been extremely stressful for me. I already sent him an email about it. Hugely triggered Sunday night. Having my car in the shop for the 3rd time this year. Emotional meltdown at work today. I reached my boiling point with the insurance thing. I'm terrified he's going to move away or something and leave me. I can't deal with anymore stress right now. I hope he understands the multiple emails today.

Miss David Frei. Love Westminster, although the change to breed judging on the Piers makes things hectic for the professional handlers. The last time I went it was Blizzard Nemo. This year, I hope "Ty" Giant Schnauzer wins with Katie Shepherd bc they had such a bright-burning year.

Perhaps he is just not accepting it for any new clients but will continue to accept it for his current clients.
