Seeing t for the second time this week.. we are currently in a standoff. I went back to doctor to see about going back on meds. T wants me on them now, I think what the hell is the point. Last thing t said to me as I was leaving my appointment on Monday was take your meds.

We shall see what he says today.

I don't think therapists get a vote in what I ingest or put in my body. Some of those drugs do awful things to people. I think it is a therapist's job to help a client not take drugs if that is what the client wants.

My whole street seems to be under construction or in some stage of noisy lawn care procedure. Classes have ended so I don't need to go into the school and I have no court appearances this week. I may have to go into the school just to avoid all the noise at home. The school is always completely empty after classes have ended but before finals.

Yeah I'm like that too - my imagination goes completely off the deep end when I don't yet know what's going on. I fill in the blanks with the most off the wall **** sometimes.

I finally got off the waitlist to see a new therapist ( I’ve been waiting for about 2 months approximately) I’m going to meet with him in 2 weeks and I’m horribly nervous. I just hope maybe think new T will be nice and then and only then will I give my current T a call and say I did appreciate our time together but I just think we’ve been drifting apart I mean you don’t call me back when you say you will it takes you forever to refill my medication and it seems like you never ever listen to me anymore. I Think the worst part is calling her and saying I can’t be your client anymore ( again only If think the new therapist is a good fit for me which I’ll know right away) I know it’s only 2 weeks away but the scenarios are already in my head. I honestly thought of ghosting her but that would set off a huge red flag especially if the new T prescribed new medications.

I don't have anything to add. Except I exist. And I believe the couch exists because we've made the collective decision that it does.

Actually then i skipped chiro today - it seemed like it was going to hurt more to get there. It kinda resolved from jammed yesterday into bursitis today. It still hurts but it feels like its moving towards healing. Maybe i will skip t next week.

Today, because I finished up some things, I started thinking about sitting on the couch with my person reading The Man with Night Sweats - which she was teaching that semester.

Well, I was in the mood for a deep session today, I guess I got my wish huh! I think it's time for me to accept the fact that I'm not leaving therapy anytime soon.

(My deepest gratitude going out in advance to those who WANT to remind me of my annoying pattern of doing this but will refrain out of respect for my [ridiculously annoying] process. You know I love y'all!!!)

It might not be your phone but just the default voice recorder app if you're on Android.

Check the settings of the recording quality of that. I downloaded an app which can record CD quality but what matters most I think is the inbuilt in mic. I bought a cheap condenser mic for my smartphone (monoprice mini microphone for tablets and smartphones) a couple of years back but now use a dedicated recorder.
