Just called primary care doctor n they got me in today.

I'm anxious again today. I had hoped today would be better than yesterday. I've got a lot on my plate today. Session at 2, first DBT skills group thing at 5, DBT orientation at 6:30, and work mixed in with all that. I'm tired already.

I misspoke - i thought urgent care is supposed to send you to the ER if they cant handle what you have. Like a heart attack would be obvious, i guess cooties are not.

Yeah, if it's obvious that it's an emergency, then an urgent care will send you to an ER. Had that happen once. But a "sinus infection" isn't an obvious emergency like a broken bone, heart attack, or (in my case) anaphylactic shock.

I hope that your GP is able to figure out what's going on, Art.

NP...the anxiety is warented. That is a lot. I was in DBT skills group probably back in 2012-2013. It was a lot. On nights I had group I would have 45 minutes from the time I finished work till the time I had to be there. And DBT group was 1/2 hour away from work. I remember the anxiety of not having any breathing room those days. Good Luck.

There's some asshole having a phone convo in my T's waiting room. I think this is rather rude. And he's talking loudly, too. I want him to stfu.

Now he's playing a game with the volume turned up. I can hear the cards shuffling. And then sometimes trumpets. My head is going to explode.

But then, I am rather on edge.

Loud conversations would irritate me too. Hopefully it will be a short call. How many minutes till your session?

I would have to do him extreme bodily harm. Unless there are a lot of people and its a huge room and there are kids and stuff and you just pretend youre at like a moroccan bazaar.

No, it's just a small waiting room. There's even a sign that specifically says to turn off all audible electronic devices. Obviously, mine isn't off, nobody does that, but it is completely silenced. No vibrating, nothing.

Maybe I will ***** about him to T, but probably not.

Edit: I'm having fantasies of confronting him and directing his attention to the sign. But I don't want my T to find out I'm harassing other clients. And I don't like confrontation anyway...

I got a knee brace for my knee that i really like, but i almost passed out yesterday because it made me so hot. So today i got the brilliant idea to put one of my cooling headbands behind my knee first. Cuz thats a pulse point, like for perfume, right? I am SOOOO cool right now. And my knee feels supported.

Ew, glad I didn't do anything, it was T's client's husband!

For a second I thought you meant that you have one knee that you really like and one knee that you don't care for at all. I guess it makes sense that you would accessorize the favored knee...
