I just remembered dream #2 from last night. (Dream #1 was weird and wants to be worked on with t.) But dream #2 was just coolio. I am digging in the dirt and bring up a handful of clear, beautifully cut, shiny-sparkly gemstones! even the very dirt that's all around them/on them cannot dull their beauty.

that was a cool dream.

Well, I am up and ready for a day with C. He has no camp this week, so I am spending some time with him. He is one cool kid. Then to come home and relax a little before heading to CVS for a few hours of pharm tech work.

I am still a little distressed from my appointment yesterday. I am still a little paranoid over why he weighed me. Oh well, not much I can do about it. I guess I just need to try to remember to eat. Lol. How one can forget is beyond me, but I do.

Well. I need to eat something for breakfast. Maybe some pop tarts. Yes, I know not the healthiest thing in the world, but it is food. Lol.

In my opinion pop tarts are better than skipping breakfast. Hug if you want.

Well, I am with C right now. He is eating lunch. I had some of the Mac and cheese I made for him and a couple chicken nuggets along with a handful of grapes. It’s something. At least I ate.

Took my meds this morning too. Trying to be a good patient. And not lose any more weight.

Heh. Just got a text from my pharm manager if I could come in early/now. Lol. Told him I could be in at 4 instead of 6. I have a problem with agreeing too much.

I need a reality check but don't want it up on the forum for everyone to see. A couple of thoughts keep bothering me and one of them may be OCD idk.

Can I PM with someone who does not mean me harm and is not storing up information to use against me? Thanks, sorry I'm a pain in the backside I know

Squirrel, when I was struggling to eat, sometimes it was ice cream at the end of an I-completely-forgot-about-food day. Whatever got food into my mouth. "Kid" food and junk food probably isn't the healthiest long-term solution, but it's easy to eat.

Why would Hemingway be above criticism? I think he got a lot of credit for being male more than because his writing was above reproach.

If even Homer nodded, Hemingway definitely took naps.

I like him, but I think he may be an acquired taste.

I didn't mean he was perfect. It was just rather nit-picky I guess. I dunno.

I'm just in a grumpy mood.

Off to swim—which may not last long because the gym pool heater is broken and Monday I had to stop after only half a mile because I couldn’t feel my toes—and then, La Piaf:

What’s the actual criticism of Hemingway given, art? Spare writing style? Machismo? Characterizes fish better than women?

I don't hate him, I just think he is not as good of a writer from that period as he is made out to be and that a good number of female writers - who were, in my opinion, much better writers, get overlooked or discounted.

Liking cats may have been one of his few saving graces

My sister didn't get jail time! She took the plea bargain, they dropped the charges to a misdemeanor, and she has to do 52 weeks of classes. She got lucky because they had video evidence. I don't know what type of classes she has to do. I wish they would have sentenced her to 52 weeks of therapy.

Oh, and she might not be losing the baby after all. She doesn't know how far a long she is. She thinks now she's only 4 weeks a long, so of course they can't find a heartbeat.

Now I just need my H to get better. He's having a hard time to get any doctor to see him. Both his pcp and cardiologist are booked till July.

Its MARGINALLY not as hot. I have been doing stretching and strengthening exercises am and pm per this book, "mini habits for weight loss" that says you only have to do ONE REP to be successful! Cuz the reasoning goes, hopefully youll do more, but at least youre building a positive habit. Not like you have to do 30 minutes - i mean who does that, except my lovely @@ of course who stands on her head eating ice cream and weirdly flavored oreos so is that really exercise?

And im getting the laundry sorted. I need to do at least one load so i have clothes to wear to t tomorrow. Down to my last pair of you know whats.
