After using an alarm for a few days set at the same time each day, I start waking up a few minutes before it goes off.

It makes deliberately sleeping in on days I don’t set the alarm a challenge.

That sounds like how I am...or even if I have a regular alarm set.

Oh yeah - also when i try to use an internal alarm I lay awake half the night worried about not waking up, which probably explains why i end up oversleeping!

AY, that is so interesting that your father set clocks to different time zones.

I'm only 2/3 of the way done cleaning my porch for the season, so no Sunday mornings out there with the paper yet--soon!
Thanks for this!

Yeah, he had (still has but think it's muted by age and circumstances) a deep curiosity and interest in places and people far away (that sometimes shows up in odd eccentricities!).

The clocks drove my mother batty though and she'd say that I have no idea what the time is here / now despite there being so many clocks around me!

Cleaning be over-rated!
Thanks for this!

My dog died sometime in the night. She likes to sleep in until the afternoon, and I didn't even realize she'd gone until an hour ago. I went to wake her up, and she was cold. I am in shock. She was about to turn 19. She was my life...

I asked for an emergency appt with T and got one today because i am finding it hard to pack away these angry feelings. Now i really dont want yo go because i feel like crying as well and i hate crying and i especially hate crying in front of t and i am not sure how to explain the anger so i really dont want to go, but i feel like i am wasting my Ts time, even though i know he wil use it do paperwork or something. I feel like i should be going because i asked and what if i just clam up or worse burst ino tears. This is stupid this the first time i have not turned up on purpose

Blessed, I think you might regret it if you don't take the appointment. It's ok to cry in front of a T. I'm sure she's used to seeing things like that.

So tonight, when I was taking off my rings, my engagement ring flew off away from me--I thought into the bottom drawer of my dresser. Searched through everything in there--nothing. Searched another drawer--nothing. Enlisted H to come help me. He brought his iPhone flashlight. He eventually spotted it INSIDE the dresser (like next to one of the drawers). No idea how I managed to get it there, like I couldn't do it again if I tried! Glad to have found the ring with my grandmother's stone in it though (not her engagement ring, just a stone she had in a ring she bought later in life, put in a different setting).
