I guess I'll call t to reschedule Thurs. I sure don't want to get her sick...

If you're on an antibiotic for more than 24 hours, you're probably not contagious--or you could see you you're doing tomorrow, tell T, and let her decide.

Yeah that's pretty much what she said. If I still have a fever Thurs morning we'll reschedule. Or if I feel too tired to go. She said I should stay in bed tomorrow. I probably will. If I was her I'd be all heck yeah let's reschedule... but she's a weirdo so..... haha

I don't think most sinus infections are contagious. I get them all the time and no one I have lived with has ever had them or if they did - it was never connected timing wise with mine or vice versa. I think it is that bacterial ones are not contagious and those that are a part of some virus may be.

Hot compresses! And sniff some vicks!

And my temp is up to 101.8 f or whatever.

I told her I would feel guilty if she got sick and almost cried when I said it and she was all that's therapeutic material right there or something. Here I thought it was human decency not wanting to get someone sick. Whado I know.

My face hurts.

I went to therapy two weeks ago after I'd had a fever the night before. I did tell him and leave it up to him if he wanted to shun my germy self or not. It turns out I had the flu. I felt so guilty about exposing him to that. I sent him an email warning him and apologizing profusely. I wonder what he made of all that?

Our rule at work is 24 hours fever free. I'd recommend an anti-inflammatory for the pain. Feel better, Art.

I imagine a future where doorways check your temperature and automatically send you home if you are sick.

Today, there was this kid walking down the hallway of my therapist's floor, turning around and walking back, past me and around the corner. My therapist showed up a short time later, coming from the opposite end of the hallway, and the kid reappeared from wherever he'd walked off to. She opened her door just as he approached. She and I both looked at him because he seemed to want to talk to her. He kept looking at her door and at her. His body was leaning her way, like he wanted to follow her inside the office. She asked him if he needed something. He froze and shook his head, then kept walking.

I can't stop thinking about him, how his focus was so strong on her office, it was like he was already through the door even though he hadn't moved. And yet when she asked him if he needed something, he said no. Everything about him was saying yes.

It was poignant to see that pull--the wanting yes, but saying no. I hope he finds what he's looking for.

Her son?

No. This was a kid, maybe 11 years old. Hers are much older. It seemed to me that she didn't know him, but maybe she was using her therapist skillz to act like she didn't know him.

I think lots of people in real life think I come off as standoffish or that I don’t have any interest in them or what they are doing. However, if I am percieved to be doing that, it is not intentional. Its just that I can see the older I get, the more anti-social I am getting because I have less tolerance for drama and negativity. And I just don’t want to be around people who presented that way in my past either. I mean everyone has stuff that they deal with and past experiences that plays a part in how they handle things today. I get that and can be empathic towards it, but its almost like I’m only pretending to care. I went to my mothers today because her and my father are about to go out of town for 2 weeks. She was packing and sorting all my dads medication and she was rambling on about something..I just literally didnt give a hoot about what she was saying. I only stayed about 10 minutes. I just know I’m probably making people feel kinda bad and then I feel bad that I don’t care to seem interested. I need to figure it out because I’m finding myself to be annoying. Maybe I need to change what I do for a living because right now I’m in a job thats very isolating. (I don’t have co-workers)
