That’s true, but I’ve been in a place near where you are now, and I do think the solution is simple. The problem is it’s really hard to implement it when you feel like you’re drowning (as I did).

David Tennant, I hope.

He's my favorite. Plus, he took a break from saving Earth to play Hamlet, which got my boys to watch Hamlet without grumbling.

Quigong was interesting. I also got another T added to my case, an art therapist--which i am pretty pumped about.

I will be here another week too.

The aim of therapy is to lure out the inner child and abandon it all over again.

I had leftover corn in the fridge, and tomatoes and sweet onions and peppers galore from the garden, so I made a fresh corn salsa. It is so yummy, I am tempted grab a spoon and eat the entire bowl by myself.

Back from Lulabelle. We had a really good session, of course (as y'all expected would happen). When I got there I said I wanted to talk about last week, and I told her how I'd felt invalidated cuz of her kinda blowing off that raw, vulnerable thing I'd told her and that was further compounded by her saying that thing about how I'd wasted time, and that I'd felt her frustration and annoyance, and was feeling really stupid about coming back, and had also been feeling sorry for myself. First off she apologized, and admitted that yes she had been frustrated/annoyed, and that she'd let herself get pulled into my 'stuff', instead of observing it and asking me questions like "How old are you feeling right now?" and stuff. i said i forgive you. she thanked me for telling her. I'm happy that she apologized, because I totally knew she'd been frustrated, I'd felt it! we talked about that dynamic and watching for it in the future. egads there was so much more i'm already forgetting! i took a few notes but not nearly enough! i think i need a secretary...

I didn't cry today, just got a little emotional there at one point but it never developed into actual crying lol. I'm glad I went, I've learned that lesson at least by now that the times I don't want to go end up being really good, worthwhile sessions more often than not.

We were fascinated by the addition of the security cameras during the soliloquies, and how that changed the dynamic.

I tried one episode (Tennant) and after five minutes was so irritated I could not go on.

I liked the 4th doctor (Tom Baker) probably because that was when I watched it the most. Oh and my favorite companion of his was Romana.
Thanks for this!

My kids liked Tom Baker a lot, but didn’t watch many of the other older shows. We’ve had a Tom Baker scarf floating around since last Halloween. (Also a red fez.) All three of my teens dressed as different Doctors, and one of them has fabulous Tom Baker hair.

It's 5 AM and I can't sleep. I may just get up but wasn't planning to start my day this early.
