It is still difficult, and it is REALLY hard to accept CBT and DBT in order to help me, but I am trying to keep an open mind. I am trying Quigong in a little bit. That shall be interesting.

I hope everyone is doing well. I will try and catch up on the couch until group...
Sounds like you're doing well velcro. Hope this helps you.

I was cranky during session with Piaf (had been triggered shortly before by hearing someone use a derogatory term 2ex used to call me). I don’t think I got a client gold star today.

I’d forgotten my puzzle book, so I borrowed a legal pad from her and tried to stay calm by fully conjugating a Greek verb. (I didn’t finish, but that’s Greek verbs for you.) At the end, she pointed to it and

PIAF: I noticed you making some changes there.
ATAT: Yeah, I forgot the pluperfect plural has a short vowel, not a long.
(PIAF sort of clucks, rolls her eyes, and shakes her head all at once.)
ATAT: Hey, you’re French. You have no standing to criticize the complexity of other languages.

Actually, French is one of the simpler conjugated languages. And they don't have declensions.

The case forms of a noun or adjective that indication its grammatical function in the sentence. In Greek:

Nominative (subject)
Genitive (possession, of, ‘s)
Dative (to/for)
Accusative (object)

English still has a couple vestigial ones—who is nominative, whom is accusative, whose is genitive, etc.

You could choose to see it as a new beginning rather than a prelude to the end.

Did you ever see the Romans Go Home scene from Life of Brian (Romanes Eunt Domus)?
It is like that.

Brian is writing graffiti on the palace wall. The Centurion catches him in the act]
Centurion: What's this, then? "Romanes eunt domus"? People called Romanes, they go, the house?
Brian: It says, "Romans go home. "
Centurion: No it doesn't ! What's the latin for "Roman"? Come on, come on !
Brian: Er, "Romanus" !
Centurion: Goes like?
Brian: "..****"?
Centurion: Vocative plural of "Romanus" is?
Brian: Er, er, "..ani" ?
Centurion: "Romani"[Writes "Romani" over Brian's graffiti] "Eunt"? What is "eunt"?
Brian: Er, "Go"
Centurion: Conjugate the verb, "to go" !
Brian: Er, "Ire". Er, "eo", "is", "it", "imus", "itis", "eunt".
Centurion: So, "eunt" is...?
Brian: Third person plural present indicative, "they go"
Very funny scene if you ever studied latin.

A small miracle has occurred. My ex is going to live in his dead brothers house in the town about an hour away. YAAAAAAAY! My constant anxiety about him just dropping in might go away now.
