I want to try their bath bombs but sadly don't have a bath. I would also recommend their Wiccy Magic Muscles bar- it helped with muscle pain

P.s In case it wasn't obvious I have shares in this company.

Just had a look at that roll call thread CE mentioned the other day. It's like stepping into another dimension - it's the couch but where I don't know who anyone is
Thanks for this!

It's the unexpected ones that can be harder to deal with, but I hope you're okay.

h was home briefly from 1st job, and has now left on a 2nd one for the day. I don't know what he is delivering this time... meanwhile the towels just came outta the drier so I better go get them folded/put away. Maybe I'll go swim after that, hopefully there's not tons of people at the pool. Probably are, though. I wish we had designated lap-swimming times, that would be so awesome. When it's crowded like it usually is on a Saturday I end up claiming myself a spot and treading water until I get tired. Not as enjoyable as swimming laps, but it's exercise anyway....

There was a song my husband used to torture me with. He loved "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" by Gordon Lightfoot. It's an okay song once or twice but it's also very long for a song and kind of maudlin after a while. He played this damn song so many times. I was so sick of this song.

I live in a large city with a sizable homeless population. My therapist's office is downtown near the public library and there are a lot of homeless that hang out there. There's one guy that often sits with a microphone and guitar trying to make money. So the other day I had to park right by him and I was walking to the parking station to pay. Guess what song he started to sing at that moment. I froze in my tracks and started to cry. I thought about paying him to stop singing it. Of all the songs on all the street corners...

I'm increasingly positive we were married to the same man. Not just the song, which he played every anniversary of the sinking, but we made a special trip to some museum in Michigan to see the ship's bell.

I wonder if we can get him on bigamy charges...?

And so, pho pho.

There's a place near my mother's whose sign actually reads "Chinese laundry."

By the way, everybody, is it a compliment if a writer says to you, "ATAT has an odd mix of description and letting the reader into the characters' heads, but it works"?

That is just bizarre. While we didn't have a special remembrance ceremony every year, he would just randomly play it out of the blue quite often. He knew I hated it too. He was in general a musical torturer. Didn't matter if I was sitting quietly reading or watching tv or whatever, he would just start playing whatever he wanted to listen to loudly. I would get frustrated and beg him to put on headphones. Sometimes he would comply, at which point he would start singing loudly and out of tune. I don't know which is worse, having to hear the same songs over and over or his singing. It was incredibly frustrating.

Couch 174: Double Butterflies

What did I miss?

I think theoretically it should be "Good Lord, Those People"? or "Those Guys"?
