I just got up and moved to a different chair rather than disturb the sleeping cat because he is lying where my foot needed to go.
I am powerless over cats.

Is that what is causing all the gooey responses around here? (not from you specifically. I mean just in general.) It is coming at us through the airwaves.

I am powerless over cats.

When my mother had more cats, the humans would sit on the floor in the living room while the cats occupied the sofa and chairs.

Everything in its proper place.

My partner recently said to me, "You would be a much nicer person if you liked cats". She loves me, just seems that I don't love cats enough.

I prefer bears since I’m not allergic to bears.

I think they are too sweet. A bite goes a long way for me with most pastry. I am more for salt.
This is why I am not a rival with ATAT for your affection.
Among any number of other reasons.

Your quote from her makes it sound like you don't like cats at all. But then you say maybe you don't love them "enough." I think nice people generally like cats and dogs. Where do you fall on the spectrum?

Yep. He was having heart palpitations and his pulse was 125. The doctor said that's normal especially for the first 2-3 days. And his heart won't fully heal until about 3 months. But he freaked out and called the ambulance again. They did an ekg and (omg) it was normal.

I too cherish our time apart together.
Or together apart.
Whichever.

That's ridiculous... 125 isn't even very high! I had to wear a monitor for a couple weeks to monitor my pulse due to palpitations (like 10 years ago), but my heart rate was close to 190 - and there still was apparently nothing wrong. What are you going to do with him?

This sounds uncannily like one of my therapy sessions.

Cats are ok. I don't want them touching me because they are feral beings, but we can all get along just fine if they do their thing by burying their own **** without involving me.

... again sounding like one of my therapy sessions.

I'm an uncultured swine.* What does Reisling taste like?

*I much prefer liquor and sour/sweet mixed drinks.

My daughter likes Cupcake Moscato. Don't let the name fool you, as I did, it tastes nothing like liquid cake! Blech.
Thanks for this!

I like Moscato, but never had Cupcake brand. Barefoot makes a tasty, and cheap, Moscato. They even have three varieties - red, pink, and white. Mmm makes me want some.
