So I was wrong. H didn't go to the hospital for his throat/lungs. He just woke me up and said he's going blind and had either a stroke or a mini seizure. So he call the ambulance and asked to go to the hospital. Right before they left, I asked them to do me a favor and have a mental eval done on him. I explained that this will be his 19th time at the er.

I wish I could leave him. I do love him, but can't stand him anymore. But I'm financially trapped.

Ugh, I'm sorry Scarlet. I hope they do the mental evaluation on him. Especially if they look at his chart and see he was there for a bunch of different reasons.

They're a bit slow on the uptake, I feel. No doubt they are overworked.

I just called the crisis line for myself. The guy suggested I call a social worker at the er, and tell them what's going on. So I did. She said she'll pass along the information to his doctor and then they can decide what to do.

I hope they do something.

Me neither, but its 10:30 so maybe i should just bite the bullet and get my lazy arse out of bed? Seriously, i had a hard time falling asleep last night because a) i took a pretty long nap after chiros and b) my tummy was kinda empty. Sometimes i wil eat a piece of fruit in the middle of the night, but if doc wants my fasting blood sugar, maybe i shouldnt?

Una they should have given you a ball park figure for how many hours you should fast for. Usually it's around eight hours.My mum always made an appointment first thing in the morning so it's a bit easier.

Am I safe on this forum? I don't feel safe

Why is it that every time I schedule an extra session, I start thinking I was silly to have scheduled it an hour before I'm due to be there. I try to make myself think back to why I requested in the first place and then am like, oh, right, spent much of last night crying...

There was one time I didn’t feel safe even on the Couch, so I get it. But no one here wishes you any harm, I’m sure.

As much as it sucks sometimes you gotta sit with your feelings. I personally would not have done a 3rd this week. I hope you will be able to do the 1x weekly soon. Forget what week. I'm rooting for you. Being able to lessen attachment or at least set your own boundaries will help you so much even if its hard at times

I'm inclined to trust the individual to have the best idea of their needs in terms of therapy. We all have different needs when it comes to frequency and, in my view, we each know what's best for us, even if we don't know we know.

Many of us only go weekly and struggle. It's common for therapists to make clients sit with their feelings. I was merely trying to encourage her to grow
