I have Piaf later. I’m playing with the idea that she’s an undercover agent posing as a therapist. Last session, she told me “emotions just get in the way.”

Interesting thought and it wouldn't surprise me if you're already constructing a story around that idea!

From watching the show Una bomber on Netflix,I would agree with you. Don't underestimate people. She could be a sleeper agent. It would make sense- she gets access to all of our deepest thoughts...

There are some really good medicines for depression. They take a while to work, so the sooner you start, the better you'll feel.

I think it is unlikely you would require hospitalisation.

Sending lots of love .
I've been in trazadone and Zoloft previously . I didn't find them help them helpful. I felt more suicidal on trazadone, and the shrinks advice was just to keep going up. Think i was on 150mg before I came off it. Zoloft just made me really sick.

Apparently I have 'hurt my fathers feelings' and he'll 'talk to me about it' when he comes out for a visit. It's amazing how quickly one can feel small. I'm in my mid 30's. I'm an adult. Maybe I am just so ****ed up and off my rocker I am losing it. I don't know anymore. I need a hug and I need people to just tell me it's okay to just be me. Why do I let the feelings and reaction of one person affect me so.

But it's not just some random person, it's a parent. They can continue to have strong effects on us no matter how old we are because of the relationship.
Thanks for this!

It's stupid. It sucks. Why can't he just be supportive of something that makes me feel better, that is good for me?

I like how you made it two words as though it referred to Our Una, the love bomber.

Hugs Lemoncake. Trazodone gave me horrible nightmares when I was on it. I took it anyway for awhile because I needed the sleep even if it was nightmare-filled...

I took Zoloft too and it literally saved my life at the time. I'm sorry it made you sick! (((Lemoncake)))

Sleeper agent sounds like a good description of what i do.

Cat-like reflexes - when somebody sleeps 18 hours a day, youre probably always startling them awake.

I hadn't been able to read the couch for the last few days, and it can really take a long time to catch up. Big hugs / appropriate displays of support all around.

This morning, I took a walk past my therapist's office for whatever reason. She has two kayaks on top of her car, so I know she's off to (fancy beach town) this afternoon. It's the first time I've done a walk by on one of her work days since I've stopped seeing her. I'm tempted to do it again this afternoon, which makes me feel crazed! (I won't) I can tell some of my intense feelings are dissipating, and as dumb as I feel, I think being "near" her without seeing her is helping me in an exposure therapy kind of way. I hope to reach out to her in two weeks to say a "proper" goodbye.

I ordered a book from an Amazon merchant for my fall class.

Outside of the envelope. That is a lot of stamps. The 1984 Olympics? Fiorello LaGuardia? A 6 cent stamp? Someone bought a whole bunch of stamps a long long time ago and is still using them.

LOL - Back in the olden days, the prices went up faster than you could use up your stamps! So yeah some of us have uh small collections of miscellaneous denominations...

It makes perfect sense to me not crazed.
